The winter tires on the truck had threads below the minimal requirements by law. I was unable to go up a simle incline for 10 feet and had to spend 400$ on a towing so they ccould pull me up. I habe pictures and this is unacceptable.
JEAN FNous avions rendez-vous pour prendre le camion à 16h et le commerçant avait décidé de fermer à 15h sans nous avertir. Nous avons dû ouvrir un compte en;ligne pour refaire une demande de location avec un code pour une boîte à clé. Ça a pris une heure parce qu’il y avait un bug. Puis, les portes du camion se sont barrées pendant que nous prenions des photos du camion comme demandé. Le commerçant a refusé de se déplacer et nous avons dû appeler CAA à nos frais. Nous avons attendu plus de 2 heures dans une cour alors qu’il faisait -18 celcius dehors. Tout simplement inacceptable!

Suzanne GI rented a few times a year U-Haul truck, but I wouldn’t recommend the location during winter. The tires quality aren’t for winter. I stayed stock in 3 inches of snow when the truck was empty. I don’t understand why you are allowed to rent those trucks during winter. Usually the rent is really nice during all other seasons. Just think about an other option on winter.
