I have NO issues with this location; however, I do have issues with U-Haul corporate. Waiting until 6 PM until the night before pickup to confirm the equipment is available is too late. It's stressful and made the experience uncomfortable. I never received a call by 5:30 so I called instead. When I did, I found out my preferred location wouldn't have the equipment and I'd have to drive 30 minutes to another location instead. I mentioned that I would likely be late but that information was NEVER conveyed to the pickup location so they almost canceled my reservation. Additionally, each time I called U-Haul (several times that week) I was directed through a maze of phone trees, hung up on by the computer, and had to wait at least 20-30 minutes to talk to an actual person. Trying to call the actual pickup locations just redirected me to your corporate phone system, which was frustrating.KIRK L.
Great staff! The GM isn't very customer service oriented, he is quite blunt and impersonal and borderline rude. The rest of the staff is A+ AMAZING!! Will totally use this location again, yet I will make sure to not work with the GM just the regular staff. Thanks!!THOMAS A.

When checking out, your procedure is to use a smart phone to check in if after hours. I like many people do not have a smart phone, so doing this is a major problem. I was going to be charges an extra $20.00, just because I could not check in on line. Since I was unable to return vehicle before closing time and a coupe of hours after check out time, I kept the vehicle until morning and occurred an extra day's rental.JAMES M.

The equipment worked well but was very dirty inside the cab and smelled awful. Could use a good cleaning inside. As far as turn in, we turned in on a Saturday. Only one person staffed inside. It was a Saturday... There were 5 people waiting in line when I got there Saturday morning. Need to have more on staff but understand the work crisis situation right now as it is very hard to get anybody to work nowadays when they can sit home and collect unemployment.ROBERT L.

The UHaul located on Kingston Pike had TERRIBLE customer service. I called to reserve a UHaul Truck and spoke with a representative named Toma. 3 days later when I arrived to pick up the truck, I was informed that no reservation was on file and that I only had a quote. I was also informed that they did not even have a 15 ft truck, which I had explicitly reserved while on the phone with Tomaâ€”check the recorded phone call. The Kingston Pike location did not try to provide any help or solutions for me. I had to call the UHaul in Chapman Highway and luckily they had ONE 15ft truck that I could reserve. I had movers coming to move things out of my apartment in less than 30 minutes. This situation could have been worse. The Kingston Pike location needs training in customer service as well as how to competently reserve trucks for customers. I had hired movers for a specified time period and I almost did not have a truck due to their incompetence and lack of professionalism. Thankfully the Chapman highway location was the complete opposite as they were competent, courteous, and able to assist me in reserving a truck.Jamie T.

It was indicated that the gas tank was "full" on receiving the truck, but when I got in, it was about an 1/8 tank less than full. While I only drove 25 miles, there was no gas station close to my new house or the drop off location and I would have had to drive more miles to access one. It was frustrating to get charged so much for gas when I overfilled the tank last time I rented a truck.LINDSEY C.
