Have someone available for help and troubleshooting. I was unable to lift the tongue of the trailer to put it on my hitch ball. If trailers don't have a jack then you should have someone available for helping lift it. I've rented trailers from other locations in the past and never had to hitch up on my own, by myself. As for troubleshooting, the safety chain hooks are too thick for the slots on my standard hitch. They would not fit. Dealer had no solution available for this situation, so I had to walk 3 blocks to a hardware store and buy some chain "links" that would make the connection between my hitch and their oversize safety chain hooks. I will say that they were helpful with my pricing. And I have said it before, this is not a corporate store, they don't sell all the corporate supplies, and the front door is unmarked and difficult to find and requires walking in the very busy street to get to the front office. Parking lot is typically crowded and unorganized. I wasn't sure where to park and I ended up blocking another customer trying to leave in a rental truck.
