You cannot improve a thing so long as you keep Dave Patterson at your Lake Placid store. He is, and always has been wonderful to us here at the Hospital in Saranac Lake.

John MThe engine blew on the 15' truck I rented. Fortunately I was on the way home so did not have to off-load and re-load. When I was eventually provided with a similar replacement truck (at the second U-Haul site I was driven to by the nice tow truck driver), this 15' truck was far superior even though it had almost as many miles. The first truck had an always-on "Check Engine" light; I was told it as a bad sensor and not a problem. The steering was very loose and brakes not tight. The driver's side mirror would swing around above 60 mph; I used packing tape to keep it in place until I got to a service station. I will never rent from the Lake Placid operator again.
