Charlene OThe condition of the 15‑foot truck I received was wholly unacceptable. The interior cab was filthy, the cargo area was in the same condition, and the gas cap was so damaged it could not even be removed. Had I run out of fuel, this would have created a serious and unnecessary problem. The service at this location fell far below the standards any customer should expect. Although I needed the vehicle and there were no alternatives available on-site, this experience has left me far from a satisfied U‑Haul customer. You must do significantly better. I worked for U‑Haul when I was in high school, and I remember the pride we took in maintaining those trucks. Every vehicle was inspected, cleaned, and prepared with care before it ever went back out on the road. The standards I encountered today are nowhere near what they once were, and that decline is unacceptable.
