The staff was very obnoxious and unprofessional, they yelled at us while we confirmed our pickup information.
NATHAN PI received my vehicle with no gas and terrible cigarette odor. I was also overcharged for these issues and currently waiting on a refund.
TORIAN RThank you for accommodating my schedule!
A DI reserved a truck at a much more convenient location for my move to Reno about a month in advance. The plan was to fly into Las Vegas the day before to pick up the truck. I had movers scheduled to help load the truck and drive up to Reno the next day. Unfortunately, I received a call the day before my reservation informing me that the location did not have a truck available. This was extremely stressful and disappointing, as I had planned everything in advance. The only alternative offered was a mobile pick-up at the Meade location around 10:30 PM. I was unfamiliar with that location and would have preferred another solution. It felt unfair that I had to adjust my plans despite making a reservation well in advance. How is this my fault you overbooked your trucks? My flight was delayed by about an hour, so I wasn't going to land until 11:30 PM so I called to inform the Meade location. I was assured that picking up the truck wouldn't be an issue and that assistance would be available if needed by pushing the Ring button on the business door. However, when I arrived, the Uber dropped me off at a less-than-ideal location, and no truck was assigned to me. I pressed the button for help multiple times but received no answer. Eventually, security told me to call U-Haul directly, which prolonged the process by another 20 minutes. Overall, I was left waiting outside for about 30-40 minutes in a TERRIBLE area of Las Vegas around 12 AM. Once I finally got the truck, I encountered additional issues: the gas cap light was on, and the seatbelt alarm went off for half of my trip. These problems made an already stressful situation even worse. Although I received a $100 credit upon returning the truck, I don't feel it adequately compensated for the inconvenience and frustration I experienced. Due to this series of unfortunate events, I am hesitant to rent from U-Haul again. I hope my concerns are taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
