Firstly, I booked a truck at a location in Clearfield. I received an email the next day which confirmed my booking, but apparently the location got switched to another location in Layton. I didn’t realize it until we drove to the first location and checked my email. When I went to get the key at the second location, I opened the lockbox and it was empty, no key. I called support, and they sent me to a third location (Layton Hills). I appreciate the flexibility with getting another available truck, but having to visit 3 locations was annoying. The truck had one cab door that didn’t open very well, and the service TPMS light was on for the whole day, and the cargo door was tough to open/close as well. So it seems like the truck needs a bit of maintenance.

We had a VERY hard time finding a spot to park the 26' foot truck we had rented when we were returning it. We think we'll drive an extra distance next time and go to a different location. We used the app for all of the return.

MICHAEL FWhen I picked up my U-Haul and got it to my home to start moving things I opened up the back and the entire bed of the truck was covered in a gel sticky substance and tiny squishy balls that looked like something exploded. It took me a good 45 minutes to mop everything and wait for it to dry before I could even start loading my belongings into it. I would appreciate some sort of compensation as I reported it immediately as well as took photos of everything before and after.
Jamie MThe location had a sheet of paper on the door stating it was closed. When I called U-Haul about it, the agent said they saw it was closed and helped me through the drop-off process. It would have been nice to get a notification that the location was closed, and the return process would have been easier for me.
