The truck bed was unswept and there was no lock provided for the truck rear door, and blankets were missing. The numbers on the lockbox were so rubbed off it was impossible to see which number it was in the combination.

richard bWhen I arrived the manager to leave the office so he could “Cuss some people out!” When he came back to help me return the truck and trailer I asked if everything was okay and he replied, “Where the fuck am I supposed to put this? They keep sending big equipment and we don’t have room for them here!” I apologized and he said it wasn’t my fault and not to worry about it. While he disconnected the trailer I complimented his new tattoo and he said thanks. I showed him some damage to the side of the truck that I had photographed when I picked it up and he said he would report it, then I handed him the keys and he started to walk away. I asked if there was anything else and he said, “No, you’re done here,” over his shoulder as he continued to walk away. I told my wife I guess he’s having a bad day. I believed I’d returned the vehicle with a little more fuel than when I picked it up, but when i reviewed my receipt I found I had been charged $18.00 for three additional gallons of gas. I like Uhaul as a company, but will not return to this location when we move again, and would certainly not recommend it to any of my family or friends.
Theodire SCharged me a late return fee when I returned on time then lied and said that my return would be processed within 30 minutes. Has been a day and it still hasn’t processed. I specifically said I needed it back immediately.
