Rented a 9 ft Van. Drove less than 6 miles for a local move and was charged for 2 gallons of gas. It appears the van gets less than 3 miles to the gallon. Spoke to the agent at location. She stated that she understood and would work to refund the gas charges but this required her field managers approval. No response on the refund.

Julius DThe bed of the truck was filthy, lots of dirt and didn’t seem like there was any attempt to clean it. The bed of the truck looked like it was recently vandalized and the bed smelt strongly of weed.
CARSON TThe mileage was off and I didn’t catch it. They are trying to charge me an extra $222 for miles I didn’t drive
CHRISTIAN TTruck was great. However, my experience at your vendor Layton storage was terrible. That woman should not represent your company. I can tell you this, I will never deal with that establishment again. Additionally, I would never recommend any to deal with them as well. If I had any time time to find an alternative I would not have even rented the truck .. you have a problem there.

Tasha TTransmission slipped the whole way. Storage shed didn't lock when I got here. I refused to leave my belongings in an open storage unit. I'm disabled. This move almost killed me. Tried to return truck to the place I rented it but they wanted full price so I was without my vehicle for 3 days because they didn't have the equipment for me to tow it. It took all of my social security so I'm out in the cold and when I got here my truck was damaged so I can't move on to where I'm going. It was not supposed to be like this. Happy homeless Christmas to me.

Nancy ABeing open7 days a week would be great. Not the drop-off locations fault but U-Haul's. It's not right to pay a $20 drop off fee when a location isn't open 7 days a week. Most apartment complexs don't let you leave a trailer sitting nor does a customer what to be responsible for an empty trailer!
Brian LMy problem was not with the location, but my app based check out experience was not good. The servers kept timing me out, and making me start over when trying to upload photos. What should have taken 5 minutes, took nearly 45 min in total. I actually had to leave the truck for another appointment and come back to try checking out again, until it finally worked. I would have been checked out by 6:00 had I been able to the first 5 tries, and I think I may have been charged an extra day for doing so. Anyhow, the truck was fine, the lady at the location was awesome, just left a bad taste in my mouth in regards to the checkout delays. It wasn’t a problem with my signal either.

Wendy WWe were scheduled to pick up the truck after hours, with mobile pickup. The keys were not in the lock box they were supposed to be in. Had to wait over an hour for the location to open, & when it did, the employee acted like it was no big deal, even though it caused our entire move to be off schedule, & we didn’t have help as long as we would have if we would’ve been able to pick the truck up at the time we had reserved it for. She had the key hanging behind the counter & seemed clueless to the fact that she was supposed to have put it in the lock box. The truck also only had half a tank in it, which made it more difficult to figure out how much to put back in, rather than filling it up completely to make up for what we had used. Will never use this location again.
