Did not like the fact that my UHaul truck was dented and beat up looking. I paid for the extra insurance for $14 but after getting the truck I felt ripped off. However, the customer service was excellent in pick-up and drop off! When I waIked in one employee had an emergency but was phoning someone to come to the office to prevent the office from being short staffed. On his way out he saw me at the desk and told the other employee there was a customer and he told her to call him on his cellphone if they needed him. This impressed me so despite not being fully nñnsastisfied I will try UHaul and this location on more time. Penske truck rental will get my business in the future if UHaul fail the next time.

Not sure if you can improve but when I dropped off the uhaul there was a few people looking inside my car that looked like they were up to no good. Just an FYI for the safety of your trucks. I was a bit intimated getting off the uhaul and walking back to my car. No issues with the actual uhaul service everything was perfect and convenient. Thank you. I will booking again this Saturday :)

The staff at this location were fine. The pickup I rented was clean and in good condition. I found myself in the presence of people I think were drunk. related to the liqueur store next door I think. I didn't care for that.

The ladies and gentleman that helped me over the phone where excellent 10 Stars the location I picked up the truck SUCKED there's a question at the top WAS THE EQUIPMENT CLEAN AND MAINTAINED: THE TRUCK WAS PERFECT the trailer that they were trying to give me to tow my car the first one was UNACCEPTABLE IT WAS TAPED UP THE LIGHT DIDN'T COME ON ON THE RIGHT SIDE I REQUESTED FURNITURE DOLLY ALTHOUGH I WASN'T CHARGED FOR IT I DID NOT RECEIVE ONE WHICH MADE IT HARDER FOR MY MOVER I THOUGHT ONE WAS ON THE TRUCK AS I REQUESTED AND THOUGHT I PAID FOR THE GUY THAT WAS CHECKING OUT THE TRUCK OUTSIDE ATTEMPTED TO GIVE ME A FAULTY TRAILER WHICH TOOK ANOTHER 30 MINUTES OUT OF MY LIFE TO GO BACK INSIDE TO COMPLAIN TO THE GUY BEHIND THE COUNTER TO PUT A PROPER TRAILER ON THE BACK OF THE TRUCK and I was not the only one having problems at that location that day but I do appreciate the fact that I was accommodated last minute with a truck and that all my belongings made it here to my destination I think my fuel should be waived because they want me to pay $55 to fill up the tank which I do not have at this time for the inconvenience of them trying to put a faulty trailer hitch on the back of the truck not equipping me with the dolly that I requested but all in all I'm here

Reserved 20' truck on Aug. 24 for Sep. 30 at 7:30am. On Sep. 29 got a call on Sep. 29 about 6pm advising 20 not available until 4pm!!! Too late to call back until the next morning at 8. Due to 20 unavailability, we were promised a 15' and a free trailer. Now 2 hours behind schedule. we pick up the 15' and are told that a "light bar" for the truck/trailer is not available but will be delivered by a different location and the trailer will be delivered to us in 1 hour. We left with the truck and NO ONE EVER DELIVERED THE TRAILER!!!! NO ONE EVER CALLED REGARDING THE TRAILER AND WHEN WE RETURNED THE TRUCK THE NEXT MORNING, WE WERE TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO NOTES REGARDING DELIVERY OF THE TRAILER. UHAUL IS ALWAYS UNRELIABLE

My experience with Uhaul was horrible, especially the after-hours drop off. I called and reserved a 10ft truck from 2:30-6:30 at the Lemon Grove, CA location the night before with an online operator. I arrived at the Lemon Grove location at 2:40. The man who helped me wasn’t able to find my reservation based on my name, so I gave him the reservation #. Apparently, the online operator had put in a different/wrong last name even though I had spelled my (4 letter) last name for her. Once that was cleared up, I got my contract, got the truck, and left. When I was done, I arrived back at the Lemon Grove location before 6pm and went to the key drop box. I then realized there was a longer process to the after hours drop off. Unfortunately, I was having trouble creating an account on uhaul.com, so I called the customer service line for help. The operator told me a few simple steps to follow, I said ok and hung up. I did as I was instructed and created an account, got an email verification code, and opened my account. However, there was no section on returning a truck, just my overall order information. I tried again and still nothing. I called customer service back and the man on the phone walked me through the process of creating an account 3 times before suggesting I use my contract number instead of my email address (although email, contract number and phone number were all given as options to create an account…). It finally came up with a “return truck” option. I then logged my miles online but noticed a warning saying "the current mileage that you have entered results in 5,000 miles or more being charged. Check the Current Mileage". In reality, I had driven a total of 79 miles. We tried 2 more times before he put me on hold to ask for help/advice. Unfortunately, whoever he talked to was no help whatsoever, which he acknowledged. As a result, he said there was nothing else he or I could do at that point, so he told me to drop off just the keys and call the Lemon Grove location back when it opened at 7am to talk with them about it. He made a note in my file detailing the issue with the mileage and the fact that I had been on time to my drop off. He then told me to NOT continue with the online process as it would have automatically charged my credit card over $25,000!!! I hung up after 40+ minutes of being on the phone with the operator, put the truck keys in the drop box, took photos of the truck (thank GOODNESS I did this) to prove it was in the same condition it was when I got it, and left. The next day I called back at 7am when they opened. I told the man on the phone that although my hard copy contract was all correct (mileage of the truck I was given, etc.) somewhere, somehow, my account had been messed up and the mileage was very off. I let him know there should be a note in my file detailing everything. He asked for my name and my account came up. He asked if I dropped it off in the right location – I said yes. My initial interaction with the desk worker was very negative. She would ask a question then not listen when I gave the answer. She seemed like she wasn't interested in being there. Maybe it was early, maybe she has a bad attitude. I'm not certain. The gentlemen who verified the truck with me and the one who took the truck back were both professional and courteous. Unfortunately, the office experience was not good.

What happened? Way overcharged. Terrible customer service. Ruined our moving day. My husband got 1.5 hours of sleep before work Sunday morning because of your incompetence in getting us our reserved vehicle hours after our reservation after sending us to two other locations. Terrible terrible terrible. I disputed the charges with the online check in and was charged anyway. No one contacted me. Someone needs to contact me. I demand a full refund. I will rate all three uhaul locations everywhere possible with the lowest reviews. I will never use these locations again. I will use any other rental service for the rest of my life.

We tried to use self pick up but our reservation wasn't assigned equipment the night prior to us picking up. The site manager sent somebody out quickly to assist but it did delay our start time for moving day.

Service your vehicle. Yes it was very clean and I'm happy with that and nice cold a/c. But how the truck drove scared me more than Me riding a motorcycle on a rainy day.

The only thing was I lost my wallet it happen to be in the truck and they did not call to tell me. My family and I sent 1 1/2 looking to it in all the stuff we had moved and not knowing if I lost it at the dump. I tried calling the number to the store and got someone else who was not at the store location so they could not tell me my wallet was their. They should have called as soon as they found it. It would have saved a lot of head aches. Everything else was great.

We had many problems with uhaul. 1) they did not have the truck we ordered 2 weeks ago 2) they knew they weren't going to have it and did not call us 3) got us a truck 30 minutes away that was 6 feet smaller 4) have to now move again next weekend because we could not fit everything in the smaller truck (our apartments are 6.5 hours apart) 5) customer service was very rude and did not assist in their mistakes 6) truck was dirty and gross 7) we will be calling to discuss this further and see what can be done to fix this situation. The trailer had a leak in it my 64 in smart TV and my 46 in TV is ruined from the water that got inside the trailer.. My clothes were wet and mildew I'm very unsatisfied I will never rent from uhaul again now I'm out of $1400 because my TV's got wet.. I don't recommend anyone use uhaul

This truck should have been sent to dealership for maintenance. The ball joints or the tie rod ends are worn and when your driving on bumpy roads, especially if the bumps are on the right hand side of the lane, it's a dangerous drive. When the right front hits a bump it often causes you to swerve due to the play in the steering system. It was a long and irritating drive because of this truck, It was reported to UHaul. Make sure your trucks/vehicles are serviced and are safe.
