Try sending out a truck that actually has brakes. And if you cant do that. WHICH OBVIOUSLY YOU CANT. Try sending a tow truck in a couple hour NOT 8-9 HOURS LATER. AFTER PAYING GUYS FOR 5 HOURS. I HAD TO SEND THEM HOME AND FINISH MYSELF. WORST UHAUL EVER!!! THIS PLACE SUCKS!!

The representatives at Uhaul Massachusetts local was AWESOME!!!! There was a situation that was not so great for me. But Faeleen and Ryan made a world of difference. I left there the first time so happy??. The Massachusetts location has the best workers. Ron Pedersen is so blessed to have such great employees. They aim to please and keep customer satisfaction priority one.

pickup and delivery booked back-to-back with other customers. Not enough time and I was charged for being 20 minutes late $40 and it was listed on my bill as propane expense which was not true. I was told that the 1 o'clock pickup hat to get paid $50 from U-Haul because my truck wasn't there at 1 o'clock. It is not a good idea to book back to back and then blame the customers and charge the customers for that.

I arrived to drop off vehicle at 9am, the lot was overfull and made it nearly impossible to park the truck. When i went inside to return the keys and close out my bill the employee was frantic and rushing. He asked us to take the truck to a different drop off location down the street. I reluctantly agreed, but still agreed. The location we were given was an auto sales establishment with other uhauls parked in the front. We left the keys with the employee and then left. I was called about 2 hours later and was told to take my truck to another location. I told them i returned the truck that morning. They had no knowledge of my return. I was contacted once again by uhaul and i repeated what had happened. I was told i would be sent a receipt momentarily.i never recieved it so i called Uhaul and asked for my receipt again. It is now August 19, 2016, and i just now received my receipt . I rented my truck on August 1, 2016 and returned it the morning of August 2, 2016. My overall experience with this location was extremely stressful and made my move very stressful. This was an understaffed, unprofessional, and chaotic location. I will be completely avoiding this location on my next move. This would have been such a convenient location so close to my house but i will never come to this location again.

I set up my reservation in advance online. I picked up my U-Haul truck located at the shell gas station 3520 Sweetwater Springs Blvd. in Spring Valley California. This transaction went smooth and the employees were very knowledgeable. After loading the truck I picked up the trailer at a different location: 1805 Massachusetts in Lemon Grove California. At trailer pick up they put the trailer on the uhaul and my Chevy Tahoe on the attached trailer. My father and I were told were not to take my truck off the trailer. We were told that the location I would be dropping off my trailer to was a corporate location and ONLY U-Haul were to take it off. The hours I had help offloading the truck U-Haul was closed. I was unable to use the ramp on the U-Haul to off load because my car was still on the trailer attached to the truck. It was a nightmare trying to offload with the trailer still attached. We damaged several big pieces of furniture this way. The following day my father and I took the U-Haul with the attached trailer to the "corporate location" and they would not take my vehicle off the trailer. We were told I'm to take the vehicle off the trailer and that's not something they do. My father and I looked at each other in disbelief. Why couldn't you haul employees all be on the same page? Instead were told one thing in California and completely different story in Arizona. We could've avoided that nightmare of trying to offload without a ramp with a huge trailer in the way. To make matters worse as my father was driving the vehicle off the trailer, The trailer detached from the tow ball and front of trailer flew up in the air. The person working at U-Haul was floored and he questioned how we made it from CA to AZ without losing the trailer. We were not familiar with how U-Haul does things so we trusted what the employees at U-Haul told us we're solid. I'm very disappointed knowing the trailer was not safely secured and how I was misinformed about the trailer me really upset me. Things could have been so different if employees were trained on the same base of rules to convey to the customer.

Customer Service Agents need to be more friendly, smile and do the best they can to assist the guest with any question possible. Lance Shaver was the only pleasant agent welcomed us while we checked out our uhaul answered all question and smiled while doing so.

A 4hr move turned into 8hrs because Uhaul didn't have the size truck that I RSVP a WEEK in advance. I was offered NO choice but take a small truck. I will NEVER use or recomned this company again!

Keith Sylvester is costing U-Haul money. Plus he’s and @%&*^$!! I had initially made an honest mistake by going to the wrong location to pick up my truck. I finally arrived to Lemon Grove about 35 minutes late. When I exited my vehicle Keith yell from across the parking lot, "what's your name!?”. As soon as I responded he proceeded to scold me like I was his child. He proclaimed “YOU’RE LATE!” and “DON’T HAVE NO TRUCKS FOR YOU”. The attitude and aggressiveness he displayed were way out of line. Mind you this was in front of my wife and three children and other customers. I was already in a predicament because of my time sensitive situation and I needed that truck and I needed it right then. It took all the self-control I could muster to keep the situation from escalating. I knew my responsibilities outweighed a confrontation that would just end up with me still looking for a truck and missing my other obligations. Ended up they did have a truck. During paperwork signing literally nothing was briefed and it seemed as though he was extremely frustrated and looking for a fight. Everything coming out of his mouth was antagonistic in natural and sharply pointed at me. Well, I still rented my truck and took care of what I had to. Later I called the 1-800 number to request the truck for an extra day. The very next morning Keith calls me trying to tell me that I was now going to be charged all this extra money and I had now taken the opportunity from another family to move. He continuously talked over me when I was trying to explain I had called to extend my rental and he lectured me on truck rental educate. I was in the middle of moving during the phone call and finally snapped telling him “I don’t give a damn and all care about getting my family taken care of” and hung up. When I returned the truck, on time, Keith was not there. I had started to explain the nightmare of an experience I had with someone there, because at the time I did not know Keith’s name, and the guy just smiled and shook his head. He knew exactly who I was talking about. Keith has a reputation. Just look at the reviews here. It was made clear to me that I was not late, there were no extra charges, and Keith didn’t know what he was talking about. The guy was very polite and said that they were very sorry for what had happened. They were great. However, I have vowed to never use U-Haul ever again no matter how inconvenient the decision might be. To me it is now an ethical strike. I will not pay one more dime of my hard earned money to a company that employs such a catastrophic customer service failure and points it in my direction to humiliate me in front of my family and others.

Everything was smooth as far as picking up and returning the uhaul......I guess the Only thing I would comment on is the person that helped me at the desk . There was no personality. It seemed like he was unhappy with helping customers .. Almost like he snap if I asked to repeat an answer

Very, Very poor "customer service" from the manager Sylvester Keith. Maybe having an off day or too worried about his lunch. And we cleaned the truck out in the back. However when we returned it and because there were foot prints on the floor board in front driving area. They said we would be charged. So my friend proceeded to pull his shirt off and wipe down the floor board where you put your feet on! And when they were checking the mileage my friend asked them not to put their feet on the floor board! Really!! Won't rent from that location EVER!

The battery of our truck was stolen. We had to wait about an hour for a replacement. The use of an alternate truck was never offered.
