A U-Haul location in a sketch motel seems like a poor decision. The person I dealt with to get the truck seemed flustered by the process, and seemed suprised that someone was there for a U-Haul. He muttered that the truck had not been checked in correctly by the last person. Finally, when I arrived at our move location and opened the truck I realized that the two dollys i had rented were not in the truck but an appliance dolly I did not request was. I do not want to use this location again and did not select it in the first place. You sent me there.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkIf U-Haul was smart, they would end the contract with this location. Location had many homeless, and vagrant people hanging around. I have never had a truck from U-Haul in 30 years, that was less taken care of than this one. When I picked up the truck I said yes it was clean, meaning it did not have trash thrown all in it. The inside reeked of cigarette smoke. The windows had not been cleaned inside or out. It was raining and the wipers seemed as though they were original, and did not clean anything. The seats and steering wheel were extremely sticky. The inside had not been vacuumed out. The truck has not had an alignment in a long time and the front tires were worn on one side. Broken passenger side mirror. U-Haul changed my location for pickup, and the truck I needed, because someone thought it would be best. Instead it would be best for U-Haul to contact the renter and ask a series of questions before assuming your doing best for the customer. You certainly didn't do better this time.

I can't believe it coste $830 to go 80frickin miles...It's the biggest RIPOFF I've ever seen....And I did them a favor and pulled a trailer behind since they were low in the area...100 extra miles and an extra day didn't do anything for me in exchange...I just got to pay for the gas.🤬🤬🤬🤬
Angela SThe app did not work well for me. I tried for an hour to get the code to get the key for my 10 ft box truck. I let the online girl help me and that didn't work either she was just having me do the same thing over and over again. The gentleman at the hotel where the U-Haul trucks are finally said we have a number to call of the guy that can give us the code. I said yes I need to get out of here. I've bought something that I need to pick up at a certain time. Once they called the gentleman I had the code within minutes. They heard me on the phone the 45 minutes before they offered help. It's bad when you don't have anybody to call and talk to personally that can really help. Otherwise the truck itself was very good. It was just the frustration of getting it. I was using the U-Haul app.
Sharon VWorst experience renting a truck I’ve ever had. Not to be offensive but they need someone that can communicate in English to make the process easier for the customer.
