Robert CThe drop off was 7 miles out of my way, when again, there was a rental location within a mile of my destination. Uhaul used to try to make it more convenient for the customer. At 7 mpg on the truck, we spent over $20 more in gas, and almost didn't have the mileage needed, because we couldn't pick up and drop off the equipment where we wanted to.
Archie BThe employee was very friendly and did her best, but she was working alone and seemed unfamiliar with parts of the system. Unfortunately, the equipment and overall pickup process left a lot to be desired. The truck was caked in dirt, and the windshield wipers were worn out and needed replacement. The first auto transport trailer I was assigned was buried behind other trucks and trailers, so I had to return to the office in 105+ temps to be assigned a different one. Because the employee was the only person working, she wasn't available to help hook up the trailer or assist with loading my vehicle. Overall, the pickup took about 90 minutes because the truck and trailer weren't ready when I arrived. I appreciate the employee's kindness and effort, but the location appeared understaffed and unprepared, making what should have been a quick pickup much more time-consuming.
