I was charged an extra day for being 30 minutes late on delivery and was not told I would be charged this fee after calling ahead of time telling them I would be a few minutes late. Personally, I think a little leeway given I drove such a long distance and was trying to navigate NYC was only fair and was a poor customer service mistake to charge me that additional fee. On a positive note, the person who accepted the key was warm and friendly and offered us water. I was though unnnerved that I might be charged for things as he did not wish to inspect the truck while I was there. I knew the truck was damage free and all rental items were stowed in the vehicle neatly but I was afraid I might be charged for something. And I said above, I was surprised I was charged an additional $40 for being a few minutes late.

Very disappointed with the service I received from this location. At first, I was very impressed with the friendliness of the employees. Then I realized that everything that I prepared in advance was wrong. Firstly, I reserved a dolly more than two weeks ago but there was no dolly available. This made moving dozens of boxes EXTREMELY difficult. Why make a reservation if you cannot hold the reservation? Separately, when I requested a specific location for drop off, the employee noted that I could drop off the truck "at any location I wanted" and that I just "needed to show up with the truck". This is not the case. They said this likely to speed along the process of picking / checking out the truck. During the drive to Montreal, I called to confirm this was true but it was far from it. I spoke with an agent for the better part of 45 minutes to confirm a location that (1) could accomodate a 15" truck and (2) had space in their lot. Overall, this was a very poor experience and had it not been for the movers (who were fantastic), I would rate this as a "poor" 1 star.

OREN AThis location was a pleasure and quite friendly. That said, your algorithm is spooky. Why was I charged for 3 days when I had the van for 2 days and 22 minutes? Why doesn't it allow for the allowable late time which was offered to me? I wish your website was not so weird when trying to reserve a van. And those totally unnecessary add-ons that have to be clicked every time I rent are a huge waste of time, as is the whole process. E.g., when I click on save this as my favorite credit card, why does it not always appear as such? That I have to repeat yet another process. Since I have the same profile for many years now, why can't it come up with the same information when I log in?
