I was quoted one price then charged more than double... I was told someone would reach out to me and no one has. My original email I sent pickup location was changed as I arrived at the original pick up location. I checked in online night prior and was not told about new pick up location that was much further away costing me time money and miles (could also be reason I was charged more than double) Thank you

This was hands down the worst customer experience I have ever had. Ever. In the history of my life. I reserved a truck rental for 10:30am and came in on time. Everything was fine until it was time to hand us our keys, because they couldn't find the keys for the truck listed in our contract. We waited 25 minutes for them to look for our keys and finally had to go up and ASK what was going on. They said they couldn't find our keys so we waited another 25 minutes before they reassigned us to another truck. When we went out to that truck, IT WAS BLOCKED BY THE TRUCK WHOSE KEYS WERE MISSING. Then we had to wait AGAIN for another truck to be reassigned to us and in total we waited 2 hours. We didn't leave the facility until 12:30pm at the very least. We planned early to avoid traffic as much as possible (and therefore would have saved on gas), and it would have worked out had it not been for the mistakes made by this U-Haul location. The service was ridiculous, there were other customers who came after us but got their trucks and left way before us because they continued getting help while we waited on the side for a mistake that the management made. If we were waiting from the beginning, at least TRY to help us before the helping the customer who JUST WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR. Instead we had to go up and ask for updates several times before getting the assistance we needed. Part of the problem was that the entire time, amidst all the chaos, there was only ONE customer service representative working. That is terrible management on your end. It's unfair to the one worker who had to deal with 4 irritated customers at once. The manager finally came out towards the last 20 minutes of our time here, and all we got as compensation was a "full tank of gas" which we BARELY EVEN USED. We used up a little over 1/16 of the tank. That's nothing. I was unsatisfied with the manager's offer and asked if there was any other form of compensation, such as a voucher for future rentals, but she basically asked what more did I want because she "already gave [me] a full tank of gas". Which we didn't even need. Everything about my experience here was absolutely ridiculous and I could write a book complaining about how awful it was. However, I do not fault the one worker who was working that day for my terrible experience. Regardless, I am extremely angry about the way that this situation was handled, and my anger remains even 4 days after this incident occurred. I have been to 1 star reviewed restaurants and their service was better than this.

I was told to drop off at any of three location nearby at my pick up location . first location did not accept drop off then i had to go to another location to drop off . it was waste of time .

Service was slow, no clear signs or instructions on app/web app checkout method. Its not clear that the driver is supposed to return the car to the return lane since there isn't any clear signage for it. I rented a dolly and furniture pad and nobody pointed out where to get them. I thought they were in the vehicle but they were not. Took much too long to return the vehicle even though I did the app return method because I couldn't locate the key drop box or anyone to take my keys. Van had trash in it when I picked it up.

This was an easy place to leave truck HOWEVER this was the second location we had to drive to. I was first given an address of 6108 W. Pico Blvd to drop off my Haul (after hours) and that was not accessible-it was almost impossible to find, no one was there when we did find it and the gate was locked. After a long distance move of driving all day-you can imagine that was frustrating. I called U-haul and they didn't know why either so that was like another hour on to our long day! The rep was helpful to give us this address and this facility was easy-peasy. My advice it to always pick up and drip off at U-HAUL centers. Overall a GREAT experience though and I was always recommend U-Haul!!!

Facility was so small and completely disorganized. I had told them a week in advance that I needed my ubox for access. When I got there they had to pull it from the back, taking up a good portion of time. When we came back for another load, trucks were blocking access. When I returned my truck, I had to return it to a neighboring business because a semi was blocking the entrance. The manager told me I was good to go and that she would close out my truck return. FOUR HOURS later someone called me that the business complained about my truck being in their parking lot and uhaul acted as they weren’t aware that I turned in my keys. Just an overall unprofessional, anxiety inducing experience.

Your online and app-based reservation system is awful. What's the point of it when I need to go through all of that again in person? If I never had to use uhaul again, I would.

Sam was awesome ! Hire more like him. Staff was overworked; hire more people for peak hours like Monday mornings.

PLEASE improve your customer service. Service was slow, the reps were rude and people were standing in line because the reps were late to work. This is a high volume area and people show feel valued as a customer.

Was confusing to try to pick up with the mobile/online system because it directed us to a truck that had been given to someone else already. So we ended up having to get help from the on-site staff anyway. But returning with the mobile/online system was easy and straightforward.

I think I left a pair of sunglasses in the truck and I’ve been trying to contact the location for the past two days. Nobody has reached out to follow up or contact me. A little ridiculous.

People were rude. When I called to let uhaul know I was returning a bit late I was told there might be a charge. Is your advertising misleading. I thought the $29.95 I paid was for a full day. My reservation was for 8 and I didn't get my truck until 9 I requested an appliance dolly and was told the one in my truck was reserved for someone else. Overall, my experience was poor and I will not recommend uhaul. I will, however, post my experience on Yelp to save someone else the stress on an already stressful day.

Probably the worst customer experience I ever had. Every employee was rude not to me but every other customer in line and seemed to want to purposely waste everyone’s time. It seemed like they all were in on not working that day and being lazy or trying to make it difficult for every customer. For some reason the lady with the braids had a hard time knowing anything going with simple things like adding a dolly on. I witnessed another customer buying boxes and it took 10 mins for a simple transaction. Definitely writing a yelp review too. I’ve been to better uhaul locations. If you don’t like your job ok but you do not need to take it out on others and purposely ruin others day because you’re miserable. Another example your employee told ya to check in online and go to our car but we still needed to go back in and get the keys. So our uhaul is stuck in between another uhaul and we can’t get out. We ask another employee for help and they tell us to go to the front when he has a Wallis talkie in his ear. Common sense would be to walkie talkie your coworker to move a truck. We asked him twice. It was ridiculous I don’t write reviews like this. Thanks for your time - avoiding this location at all costs

Hidden fees and charges are ridiculous. I feel ripped off to only have it for two hours
