I had to go to the counter because I could not check the 2 boxes to agree to the terms for express checkout. But my experience in the store was excellent, Amber is very professional and friendly. She did a great job getting people checked out and on their way.

I requested a pick up at Santa Monica location two weeks prior but I was informed the day before that I had to go to Rodeo, LA location It was very hard for me because took me longer to get to my destination I do not think it was correct U-haul should be more organized and delivery the service requested. I was scheduled to drop off truck at the Overland location. The person there said he did not have room. He said it was my problem, not his. When pressed he said to try the National Ave location. I asked him if he would call them and he said he would not because “they never pick up their phone.” I left disgusted and called the National location on my own which did pick up the phone and told me they couldn’t take the truck either. They suggested calling the Baldwin Hills Rodeo Rd location. I did this and the the man who answered said they could not take the truck either. When I told him how upset I was he asked if I had talked to the “traffic department.” Now, how would I know to do that? He connected me to the traffic department and the person who answered told me to take it to the Baldwin Hills location, not seeming to know that I had just been turned down there. I asked her to call them and get the name of someone there who would guarantee they would take the truck. She did this and gave me the name of Shavonda. When I got their Shavonda did take the truck and was nice. However this experience was very unpleasant and insulting. The fellow at the Overland location should not have taken a “not my problem” attitude and should have contacted the the other locations or the “traffic department” for me. As far as he was concerned I was on my own. Do you know what is is like to be exhausted in a unfamiliar location with a 15 foot truck that no one will take? I will think twice about renting a truck from U haul in the future.

I reserved a 26" truck weeks in advance and received a call the morning of the move that there was not one available. We filled a 20" truck to capacity so I had to go pick up a 10" truck. This cost me an additional $1,000 in expenses as we had to pay for hourly rates for movers plus airfare to fly friends home from Las Vegas. A very stressful experience and I will not use Uhaul in the future.

First,, of all I was transferring to another location after I made reservations one week in advance . Second ,, I had to wait 45 min , was a long line with one employee . Third ,, the uhaul truck was only quarter of fuel , the windshild was very dirty . Forth ,, I have to drive 12 miles for the transfer location from the original location . I am waiting for my $50.00 credit .

Too expensive, next time I'll rent from Enterprise. The 19 dollars a day was a scam but I was already there and it was too late to change plans. I don't like being taken advantage of. You won't have a second chance now. I will not use uhaul again

Uhaul experience is 50/50. Russel helped workout a mess. Not to his doing but the undoing of the neglect of others in uhaul that don’t log information. Uhaul is a tough sell but I feel the better of the 3 hauling companies.

I was given a RETURN location that was FULL and had to relocate to this location which was VERY inconvenient. This is WRONG and not acceptable. When a location is assigned it should be honored. Your police is NOT a good one and needs serious improvement. I also returned a day early and there was no compensation.

Provide locks and chains for overnight checkin. Streamline in person rental. App was cumbersome, and not flexible enough for staff to be efficient

Overall a good experience, easy access for dropping off trailers. When I asked about after-hours return on equipment though, the representative at the drop-off/pick-up location did not specify that I would have to check-out online to complete the return process. This lead to a phone-call telling me I didn't drop of the trailer and then me worrying I'd be charged for an extra day. However, the CSR told me the online checkout policy over the phone and confirmed I dropped off the trailer on time. Next time, all special policies regarding after-hours drop off should be told to the customer during purchase.

This cargo van wasn’t clean when I Got it- it had dirt on the inside, crumbs on the seats. Since it’s for cargo I figured this was typical. I was charged a $25 cleaning fee by James who told me it was my fault for not inspecting the inside when i rented it. I’ve rented bmw’s and returned them with cups and trash inside and was never charged a cleaning fee. You rent crappy, industrial vans and trucks, not luxury vehicles. Your cleaning fee is ludicrous.

Need more staff on busy days. I did phone check-in to safe time, but when I got to store there was only one employee checking -in contracts on one computer , had to way 35 minutes till get my turn.

Very slow service. Took too long waiting in line to rent and to return the equipment. Staff had no sense of urgency. Truck was clean inside, but very dirty on outside. I was told and shown where the gas level on the gauge was and to return to that level. I filled to that level one block away and when I returned the truck, the rep told me that it was below the level and charged my for one gallon more at $5.25. Then I go inside and the rep tried to charge me $10.50 for 2 gallons. I had to dispute the $10.50 and eventually it was reduced to $5.25. Overall, not a great experience. Location is good, but doesn't seem to be good oversight of staff. Parking areas was also very disorganized. Uhaul always seems to want to Nickle and Dime you too.

At the end of the day, the trucks were parked so poorly by the other renters that I struggled to get my small scion TC out of the parking spot. The large truck I rented had nowhere to park without blocking everything. Those were minor things I could deal with but I was charged an extra day for having the truck back at 12, no one needs it at 12 am the full day's additional charge is ridiculous. If it were not for that I would have absolutely loved everything about the experience.
