I reserved and got my van through U-Haul mobile app and the website and I am dissatisfied with it. 1. I reserved the van for different time and location however just one day before moving I got an email that the location and time to pick up the van is changed. I had fixed the time to move my furniture with the seller of furniture base on my reservation and the changes made trouble for me. 2. During checking in and out of the van the app didn't work well. In some of the process(the section that I need to send photos), it took too much time for loading photos(In van parking there is no cellular coverage and at least need to set up a wifi for connection to the internet). 3. When I got the van I figured out there is no step in the checking process to check further stuff such as Dolly or pads. 4. After checking out my van, my receipt for before and after getting the van was different. The receipt I got at the end had some stuff such as one more dolly or pads that I didn't request or get them.

I had to pick up truck more than 5 miles from home. Also would like to have had wider ramp or even better, lift gates on small trucks. It was unnecessary to rent a lg truck for one piece of exercise equipment! It weighs 300 lbs so I really needed a lift! It was a struggle. The in store agent was nice.

1- I requested a truck from Santa Monica U-Haul. Even though I had the truck for 7 hours, I got there 1 hour late and they had gave my truck away! THEY NEVER CALLED ME! 2- I reserved a truck in City Car Rental (order number 22666141). I got there and there was no truck for me!!!! 3- I reserved another truck in 5051 Rodeo Rd and I finally got my truck. TERRIBLE USER EXPERIENCE!

I was charged for gas at an excessive rate for what would have amounted to not even a half of gallon of gas. I paid but I was not happy, therefore I would be hesitant in telling anyone to use Uhaul.

Not only was my pickup experience bad, the drop off was even worse. When I picked up my truck, I was told that I would need to go to a different location than the one that I had selected online. He told me i had to drop off at this other location because it allowed for 24/7 dropoff. This would result in an expensive cab ride home, but I was fine with it. So then, when I arrived at that location, everything was locked up and the gate was closed. I called the call center who informed me that this was in fact NOT a 24/7 dropoff location, and I would have to drive a half hour to a different location. I did so, and this resulted in a ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR cab ride home, because of how far away it was. My experience with Uhaul has been by far, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I will be telling everyone I know not to use Uhaul.
