I was offered a counter pickup at this location. There is no counter pickup at this location. The employees were not trained by uhaul and therefore had no idea how to help me aside from pointing me to the mobile check in area. At which point I needed to put in contacts and other things to “verify my identity” (which can be easily done at counter check in by looking at me and looking at my government issued ID). If there was no counter pickup I would have chosen a different location. It’s very frustrating to a) not be given correct information and b) have to then basically do all the work. If anything, there should be a discount for mobile pickup. I have no complaints about the location or the employees, but if uhaul is offering counter pickup, they are obligated to train employees on how to manage counter pickup.

Reginald TA person at the gas station told me that after checkin i will get a code on app, but there was no code and no info on how to get keys. When I called customer care, they said I would send someone to give you keys. I kind of wasted 30 minutes in this back-and-forth. Finally, the gas station guy was able to find the keys for me, but my expectation was to get clear instructions on how to get the keys, which i didnt get.
