The worst service I ever experienced. They changed the location for pick up about 20 miles far. When we went to pick up the truck their system was down, and we were told they don't have truck for out of the state,and that the lady that change the location made a mistake. We called again, our reservation was canceled and they did a new one in a 3rd location. When we dropped the truck at the location their system was down again. We receive a payment receipt that does not show anything. I would never use U haul service. Never! It was my 1st and last time!!!! I am so sorry, but I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone!
vlad sI was disappointed that just two days before my rental was to start, U-Haul contacted me to say that the equipment would not be available and that I'd need to pick up and drop off at a different location.
Robert PI had a disappointing experience with this U-Haul location. The day before my rental was due back, the gentleman at the shop called me and, with an attitude, asked when I would be returning the truck because another customer wanted to rent it. I had to remind him that I rented the U-Haul for 48 hours. At that point, he laughed, realized his mistake, and apologized. Then the next day, around 9:00 AM, he called me again even though the truck was not due back until 10:00 AM. Once again, he told me in a rude tone that he had a customer waiting and wanted to know when it would be back. I reminded him that 10:00 AM was the agreed return time and told him I did not appreciate getting these calls over something that was still on time. I’m a busy person, and dealing with unnecessary calls about a rental that was not late was frustrating and a waste of my time. Instead of simply owning the mistake and apologizing for both the confusion and the attitude, he became defensive and claimed I was accusing him of harassment, then said he didn’t appreciate me. Very poor customer service at this location. This could have easily been a 5-star experience if he had just handled his mistake professionally. We all make mistakes. The difference is how we respond to them. Do better.
William MThe representative at the gas station was not only well informed but made the process easy - because all the "on-line" technology is a real pain!!! Thankfully he knew what he was doing.
