The check-in process was not smooth. You have to do everything in the app, which was not user friendly. My app would not work. The employee physically located there was not helpful. There was a virtual person there that was ultimately able to help, but the internet service would not work, so I had to keep stepping outside to work through the app. The whole process to check out the truck took 30-45 minutes longer than it had to. Every customer at the store was having the same problem. I wanted to go up to the counter, sign paperwork, get the key to the truck, and be on my way. But the process was much more complicated than it had to be.

The TPMS light came on about 30 minutes into my drive but it could have been a fluke. The tires seemed to maintain their pressure. Also, it would be extremely helpful to have Wi-Fi available to customers since they are forced to use the uhaul app. I was not aware the app was the only way to complete the check-in. I was not successful uploading pictures of my drivers license via the app. Also, the app doesn't apparently allow a user (unless I completely missed something) to complete the check in and obtain the keys. I still had to go inside the facility and talk to a virtual representative who helped me complete everything. Customers should be made aware that they will be forced to use the app for the entire process. It also sort of slowed things down when I had to turn the truck back in. Overall the experience was ok but not the best I've had. I don't rent vehicles like this often so making me use the app to take care of everything isn't ideal. Thank you.
