It has always been customary when you rent a trailer. That you have 24 hours to use it and return it. I had no idea when I rented from this location that it was a body shop and I was renting my trailer on a Saturday at 8:30 a.m. I was then told I had to have the trailer back by 2:30 p.m. they're parking lot is horrible and was absolutely impossible to get the trailer off of the back of my truck. And of course it was absolutely no one there to assist me I had to go ask a guy at the Car Wash next door to help me get the thing off my truck. Why are they renting you Halls from facilities when they're not available for drop off? I won't rent from this facility again

Rodney AI rented a 6 x 12 trailer. I had to pick it up at this location because the Uhaul center in Mesa did not have one available. When I went to pick the trailer up I was told by the manager that I didn't have a ball hitch! I went back to the Uhaul center to get a ball hitch. The manager put one on, I go to the Friendly Auto Center to get it hooked up. Take it home, load it the trailer according to the load instructions. I then proceeded to drive away. The tow bar is dragging on the ground. Can't move or drive. My neighbor thankfully helped me out by jacking up the tow bar and reversing the "hitch ball". That gave me room to at least drive it to the hotel for the night. Next morning I go to the Uhaul center in Mesa! Zach, who has been wonderful, looks at me and "thinks WHAT THE HECK is she doing back here!!! I told Zach bet you didn't expect to see me again! I told Zach the problem. He gave me a new "ball hitch that lifted the tow bar off the ground by 6". Gave me a lock for the trailer. He was a life saver. We were moving from Mesa, Az to North Port, FL. I can't say enough about Zach. If anyone deserves a raise or a promotion he's the one to give it to. I've been in the service business, selling real estate, customer service business for over 30 years. He went above and beyond for me. I can't say enough how he is the best person at that location. Give the guy a raise and a promotion. I mean it. There are not many people who go above and beyond customer service but, Zach did. I believe his last name is Gonzales. Doesn't matter, you should know who is working at what location, I will be reaching out to Zach in the coming weeks. I want to know that he has received company kudos, a raise and a promotion. If he doesn't I'll be reaching out to the CEO of U-Haul. I'm not kidding. I always go up the chain of command. When an employee goes beyond the distance to make a customer happy they deserve to be rewarded and recognized. I expect confirmation of this review and that Zach receives recognition and a raise, promotion within your company.
