the people at this location are lazy and won't get of there ass to show you the size or to check the mileage. I am never coming back to this location. if there was an option to give them zero start I would have selected zero instead of one.

The equipment was filthy but functioned fine. My biggest concern is the morning gal behind the desk. I find her very impersonal and unfriendly. Not a good impression for a business

Thank you very much. I will be sure to use you again.

Fix your on-line system. I tried to rent the trailer from the Rancho Santa Margarita and didn’t realize the site had sent me to the MVO location. It let me reserve the trailer at 0830 and the site didn’t open until 0900. I had people waiting for me at home to help that had to wait. The picture of the trailer I rented was a tandem axle and the one at the yard was only a single so I had to make 2 trips instead of one. This is the worst rental experience I’ve had from U-haul.

Overcharged on fuel. I traveled 26 miles and you charged me for 3 gallons of gas. Those vans average about miles per gallon. Correct charge should have been 2 gallons. Also, your form showed 3/4 of a tank of gas when I picked it up. Actual figure was slightly below 3/4.

The truck was very old, and was not ready to be rented. i can't go more than 25mil/hr. The dashboard lights were not working at all. the back sliding door has a problem.

I had a gift certificate for a rental, the uHaul rep didn’t seem to know what he was doing and told me I couldn’t apply my gift credit until I dropped off the uHaul trailer at the drop off location. After my move was complete, I dropped off the uHaul at the drop off location and they told me the gift certificate was supposed to be used when I picked up the uHaul. So I didn’t get to use my gift certificate. Sure the equipment was clean and the reservation and pick up process was very straightforward. My only issue was with the two gentlemen who were working at the mission viejo location at the time who denied me from using my gift certificate when I was supposed to - sadly that ruined my experience.

The guy in the office told me it was going to be a total of $65 for the $19 day truck to go to Newport Beach and back from Mission Viejo. Then I just get a bill sent to me for $127. This is not right!!!!

I can't think of anything at this moment.

We did an early morning pick-up before the location was open. After arriving home, we realized that the 2 furniture dollies and appliance dolly we had reserved were not in the truck. This caused a lot of issues for our move as well as increased the time and cost of the move since it took longer for the movers to move everything without it.

When renting the u haul I would have loved a reminder that we needed a hitch ball and lighting mechanism. We thought that it came with the rental. We aren't experienced with the rental. The staff was helpful but we still had to leave and go buy one. Thank you

I filled tank beyond level I took out. Told office about lower level than on paper work, also told office about the issue when I returned the truck. You still charged me a extra $ 7.88. that may have been understandable if I did not inform two people at the office about the mistake that was on the paper work, however I did inform the office, once when picking up and once when returning. So it is a very unprofessional issue you have there.

Everything was great and I do appreciate this in a company

Be afraid. I was ripped off. These people lied about the gas in the truck so that haul could overcharge me. Unsullied made me pay 100 in gas charges for an 80 mike rental on the freeway.

I reserved an enclosed cargo trailer for a camping trip 2 months prior to the date of use. Then come 2 days before my trip o get a call saying I couldn't have an enclosed trailer only an open one and ruined the plans and made things 10x more difficult. Why reserve trucks when come the day of you can just say oh ya never mind we dont have that. Why not say it's not available when I originally made the reservation. Will never use uhual again!

Everything. This was one of the most painful experiences ever. From making the online reservation, I could only select 10 am which was too late. I then tried to call to enquire if it was an error and I could pick up earlier and got fed up with being on hold so gave up. Then on the morning of pick up, I tried calling again, after 16 minutes on hold, someone finally answered and said we could pick up at 9am, then she called the exact pickup location and verified we could pick up at 9am. My husband arrived and there was no one there. No instructions were provided for how to get the keys. After about one hour, someone finally came to the office and assisted. Then for the drop off, when we clicked on the link to get the address, it showed a different address. We thought that must have been an error so took it back to where we picked up from, but then could not work out how to return the keys. Luckily, the guy in the office of the other business was still there, asked if we were having trouble to which we replied “yes” and then he said he would be able to help and get it check in. If he had alr Adt left (which he almost had) we would not have been able to work out how to return the keys. Uhaul this was one of the worst customer experiences and you need to get a much more user friendly reservation, pick up and return system.

When the customer gets an email stating to contact the Manager and gives the phone number. After calling the Manager (Jorge) approximately 5 times with no answer I gave up. Why put the Managers phone number if he won’t answer the phone. Maybe some Managerial/ Customer Service training?

Van had no Windshield wiper fluid, and windows were dirty - first stop was a gas station where i purchased blue wiper fluid after confirming with the business this was OK, and wiping all the windows. They were apologetic and asked me to include this note in the review for the management. The truck was found mostly unlocked, with a pen inside but very clean and low milage < 5k. The only "real" complaint i have is the AC does not see, to have a re-circulation option and kept pulling in truck fumes when i was stuck in traffic which made me roll down the windows in the 90+ degree heat, also the steering wheel feel a little dead in the center at 45mph+ leading to a slight constant oversteer/drift that doesnt exist at lower speeds, but that just makes you more aware of the road i guess... Overall a 90/100% compared to other rentals in my life : )

This was a horrible experience. The U-haul app did not work. I was supposed to pick up my car at 6:30am, but I couldn't get the app to work. I downloaded the app, watched "how to" videos the day before, but it didn't work when I showed up at the facility. When i loaded the app and tried to go through the steps, it just kept saying that my pickup "will be ready" but it never let me advance to the step-by-step process. Worse, there was no active customer support for this processl. I tried the customer support and no one answered. I even tried doing a "live chat" using my phone on the U-haul website but no one communicated back with me. I had to call another U-haul facility (the first one that opened up) and they had to "reset" my reservation or something. Finally it worked at 8:30am--2 hours past my supposed pick up time. This really ruined my move-in day. I'm really upset about this process and U-haul's application. I cannot believe I paid $120 in total for this. I don't think I'll ever use this again. I told all this to the people at the RV Storage Depot, and they said that they've heard the app has not worked for people and they said I should follow up with U-haul. If there is something more that people using the app need to know for this process, this information should be clearly communicated on the U-haul website.
