Customer Reviews

The equipment I had reserved online was not available and I had to get something else instead since I had already taken the day off work to do the move. This ended up costing me A LOT more. Feels like a scam honestly.

Not too impressed with this place. There was only one dude at the counter, so with several people waiting in line it bogged down the process. Also, the back of my truck was pretty messy and I had to sweep it. I don't like sweeping someone else's mess. When I told the counter person about it and showed him a picture, he didn't seem too interested in listening to me. He said, "That's okay, you won't be charged for that." What?

Quick, clean, convenient, good selection of vehicles. Flexible....just needed a 17 foot truck for 3 hours to haul some furniture between to local homes in Mission Viejo. Was able to get one at the last second. Very easy to rent. Thx

The worker was extremely helpful and willing to discuss the functionality of the product.

Make sure the trailer is on tight so it doesn't fall off the hitch in the middle of the freeway like it did for me. Thanks

You could improve the GPS feature for the after hours return option. I was charged a wrong destination charge for returning the trailer to the correct and confirmed return location.

We specifically reserved at Lake Forest location so we could pick up at 7:30 am vs. 9:00 am at the Mission Viejo location. We missed the text that said they changed our pick-up location from Lake Forest to Mission Viejo. Lost 1.5 hours. Husband not happy.

I received a trailer that did not have proper working tail lights. was told by the person who helped me out that the lights worked but did not find out they were not turning on until it was late and I was about 100 miles away.

Great place and great customer service

The fuel was down to 3/4 of a tank when I received the vehicle, the seatbelt warning kept going off even though my seatbelt was on, and the windshield was so dirty that I had to use the windshield wiper cleaner and windshield wipers to see out the windshield..Other than that everything was fine.

Overall experience being excellent, there was a downside to this. I reached my scheduled pickup location, and my availability of truck was confirmed by associate Jose, and the credit card charged. When I sent my ride back, I was told the truck was not available. It was a frustrating one hour wasted, when I had to call my ride back, and go to another location i.e. Jeronimo, to collect the truck. My credit card was reversed.

Easy in & easy out! Very convenient. UHaul should consider renting unmarked trucks, without the UHaul logo. Yes charge more, but give customers options!

The online process was very easy.

Dont give much information where to drop off he just said to call the number and they will tell me where. I Can drop it off and I called next morning the rep gave me the location to drop off and its far from my home its 25 mins drive theres a uhaul a mile from my home but she insists me to drop off to monroe because that truck have a reservation to that location anyways its not my problem if that truck is reserved , but i still did drop off cuz im afraid to get charge if i dont drop off to thAt location even she give me extra 15 miles its still cost to me extra gas, it's ridiculous.

Brian was wonderful; he directed me to another Uhaul that would meet my needs. The pick up location handled everything beautifully. The drop off location called and gave me great directions to the location and expedited the closing process. I highly recommend U-haul.

I was there for 2 minutes (which was good) but, I thought my final bill was what I was quoted. I was charged more. Not sure if it was for excess mileage? I thought I was good with the mileage. I would have like to know what the final bill was before I left the location and what the extra cost was for.

The front desk young lady was absolutely aware of my reservation, guided me through the process both for driving out and dropping off. She was very professional.

Quick and easy return.

Its just expensive. Maybe because I am poor I think so. But the mission viejo location runs like a well oiled machine

Very easy to drop off, I just handed the person the keys and walked away. We put over 2000 miles on a 26 foot truck pulling a car. It all went smoothly, UHaul was a good choice for us!

It says the tank was 1/4 full upon return, that is incorrect. It was returned at the same level that it was taken at, and I have the gas receipt to prove I put gas in. Since I can't reply to the receipt, my only option is to put it in here. I would like the $18.00 credited back to my card.

Headlights on the truck were misaligned, and would only light the area directly in front of the truck about 25 feet.
