i was charged the insurance here ($10.00) after I declined it doing the online check in. The guy said it was a mistake and that he couldn't take it back off so I was just charged $10 buck for nothing on a tow dolly.. this is the 2nd time this has happened when renting from UHaul!! Two different locations...
Christopher YThe reservation process was simple, except for the endless requests to add additional items, such as moving supplies. I only need the trailer, not the other 8-10 pages of stuff that U-Haul rents or sells. The trailer rental made our life easier during a recent vacation trip (I did not have to overload the interior of the SUV). My only negative comment is that the female employee who assembled the initial trailer lighting connections broke my 4-7 harness. I observed the employee force the trailer lighting connection onto my 4-7 lighting harness, which broke the ground connection. The 4-7 lighting harness was my personal property. I did not realize the 4-7 harness was broken until we reached our vacation destination. Upon my return to this U-Haul location, I informed the young male employee of the damage. His response, "I am sorry that happened. I bet if you call the 800 number, they would offer you a $100 credit." The older male did not comment but displayed a facial response of, "I don't care." I purchased a new 4-7 harness, not as superior as the original (purchased 5 years ago and only used 5-6 times with a family trailer (small utility trailer).
WILLIAM WStaff was efficient and quick. Made the whole process easy at both pick up and drop off.
