The owner/ operator was so nice. Took extra time explaining to me the operation of the gate, ramp, and all the features in the cab. Showed me that all of the extra items I had ordered were already pre-loaded, and on a very cold early morning offered to fill up my coffee cup and had the truck warmed up and ready to go. This was an amazing experience

I was very disappointed that this location does not dispatch its trucks with a full tank of gas. I had an estimated 85 mile use and picked up the truck with an estimated 7/16 tank of fuel. Not being fully aware of of mpg I stopped before I left the service station and added fuel to the truck. I did not use the fuel I added and returned the truck with more fuel than when I picked up my rental. I fee this is not quality service as I have overpaid for fuel I did not use

I had to wait while a customer who walked in behind me, to buy gas, was taken care of before the process was completed. The reason i ended up picking up the truck there instead of my usual location, Cox's, was because someone failed to drop the truck off at that location. For that reason I am thankful that they had a truck.

The mountain home location had a fantastic manager that realized that the uhaul trailer that we had rented from the twin falls idaho location was defective. Two tires where dry rotted and trailer was not following correctly. He immediately recommended switching to acceptably maintened unit and let uhaul dispatch know our situation. He did everything he could to convince uhaul dispatch of our plight, but uhaul dispatch did not value our concerns and forced us to pay a wrong destination drop off fee on a trailer that shouldn’t have been rented. This is totally unacceptable and fundamentally wrong.

I had been having issues with other Uhaul sites. I'd ask to pick up trailer at a specific site and they'd make reservations but site would be way out of my way. Didn't tell me that in advance. I wouldn't have been at the site to pick up the trailer. This site in Mtn Home was quick and EZ. Took care of my previous reservation and had everything done for me. Very friendly staff. Would definitely use them again.

Nothing at this location. Sam was beyond helpful and friendly. My son was in California trying to get back here to idaho and i was in a jam trying to rent a truck or van. Sam worked with me and offered a better rate which helped me bring my son home. Beyond thankful for his personal care and touch. We need more caring people like Sam who are here to help and care not just to make the company money. He makes a difference. Thanks again Sam

If a customer selects "no insurance" online when making a reservation, it shouldn't automatically be added on at time of pick up. if that is something the system automatically does, then the representative should at least ask if the customer would like to add the insurance instead of giving the total and saying "that includes insurance and taxes". To me this was misleading as I had selected no insurance online and ended up paying for it anyway because I got the itemized receipt AFTER giving my card.

we rented a tow dolly in Pasco Washington one way to Missouri. 400 miles later in Mountain Home our towing rig blew up. We called you haul who put us in Touch with uhaulk road side service where we waited on the phone for an hour and never received a call back. We had to return the tow Dolly in Mountain Home Idaho. It was returned 8 days ahead of schedule and they refuse to give us any reimbursement for a trip not taken. We we tried to call uhaul customer service regarding stop off we waited on hold again for over 30 minutes and no one answered our call. This is wrong, we NEVER reached a person for any needs and no one who would help us please call me at 4175972532 tresa Bosley

Sam went out of his way to ensure the trailer I received was free of defects. He actually isolated the wiring problem to a blown fuse on the tow vehicle (26 ft U-haul) that I already loaded.

Attempted to charge me $50+ for having truck for 30 minutes over the 24 hour reservation period. Was able to remove one charge, but not the other, so I still ended up having to pay $14+ for absolutely no reason. Will not be using U-Haul again in the future, and will advise people I know not to either.
