The online system/app needs work. I booked everything online and the location of my truck kept changing which was ok but I couldn't confirm the time online that I had scheduled it for because it would only show after 530 PM and had to keep calling the main phone number for 2 weeks to keep confirming I had the reservation. It was frustrating not being shown the time I had reserved it for.

Truck was located at a small convenience store, trailer was supposed to be with truck according to the confirmation email I received from U-haul. Had to stand in the cashiers line while customers were being waited on behind me, trailer was located at another location, that I had to go cross town to pickup the trailer in the morning rush hour, meanwhile the moving crew was at my location on the clock waiting for the truck. As I used a moving company this delay cost me over $100 in time. Truck was dirty, had 3 water bottles in it as well as rotten food under the jump seat in a burger king bag. The cab smelled horribly bad and the dash was covered in dust. Wipers didn't wipe and headlights were pointed almost straight up in the air. Made the nighttime driving very dangerous for a 600 mile trip. The trailer was being delivered for U-haul at their request, any compensation paid to me for that was paid to the moving crew resulting in a much higher fuel cost for me to bring the trailer back. If you receive a text from U-haul asking you to deliver a trailer, you may want to decline that offer. I reached out to U-haul as well regarding the tolls I traveled through, they first said I had to pay the tolls for the trailer, then stated they would pay them when the bill came in. Based on customer service so far I think I will be getting billed for the trailer tolls and having to reach out to correct this. I was also charged a fee for the "free trailer" and told I would receive a credit for that as well as an additional $25 for the extra time it took to get the trailer. Been a week since I've been back and nothing yet on that front.

CHAD MThe truck we rented wasn't available. They charge me for the upcharge. Which us absurd since it's not my error that it wasn't returned on time. Secondly I put gas in when it was return and was still charge. The truck engine did not sound good. Needs maintenance. The passenger door felt like it didn't close properly. Was told 19.99 to rental and it cost me 120. That insane. I brought it back 2 hours early also. Just a horrible experience. Won't recommend.
