Vehicle wasn’t available in bomanville where I booked originally due to a dead battery. I was contacted by U-Haul rep on phone and he advised I would not be charged if I went to another location in Newcastle to pick up a vehicle due to the battery issue. I was billed full price and had to pay the extra km’s as well from Newcastle back to bomanville and back again to return due to U-Haul not having a vehicle ready in Bomanville. Hoping this gets sorted.

Every thing was smooth and seamless. The van was ready to go. I declined the $19.95 extra insurance, which was not on the final bill. However there was a $5.00 safe driver fee hidden in the bill. Had I not noticed it, it would have been charged to my card. Once discussed it was also removed. I think this is probably standard practice across all locations, but buyer beware. Read your statements before you pay. The customer service was very good. I would use them again in the future.

DARRIN LThe employee (Partom) was continually on his snap chat while serving me. This to the point that I asked him to put his phone down and finish my transaction. Highly disrespectful on all levels. The trailer was cover in ice and Partom left me to hook it up alone. Did not check that I did it correctly. Cost me additional 20 dollar to wash the ice build up off trailer to avoid the risk of it falling of on the road which I feared would cause an accident. Highly not recommenced to do bussiness at New Castle Esso for anything.
AARON MDeal with gas issues, I drove 60km and put $15 and then they charged me an extra $14 …… $30 of fuel for 60 km?? I don’t think so
