Not charge so much. It’s advertised as 19.95 and comes out to be waaaaa more for a small move up the road.
SELENA HInitially I thought this place was a blessing, it was close by, had boxes and tape. I got a 24 hr 15 foot truck on a Tues. Then a 20 ft on the following Thursday. The first went well. The second not so. I was going to be a little late and talked to the guy running the place. He seemed annoyed but everything seemed to be OK. I get there with the truck, park it carefully. When I go in to return the keys, there is a different worker there. He had 2 customers, told me to just leave the keys and I'd get my receipt in my email. That wasn't the way it went the first time, and I hesitated. He assured me it would be fine. I get the receipt in my email and they've charged me for 2 days of truck rental, 2 days of the 30$ and 5$ insurance, 2 days of blankets. Over 200$ for being an hour late- with advance notice I'd be late. It did not make me happy. It was sneaky. Calculated. And I will not rent from this outlet again. It just so happened that I need a truck again tomorrow and next Saturday as well. I booked a different uhaul outlet. I am going to contest half the charge. Don't know if I'll get it back but, yeah. I'm not going to blame all of uhaul for one place, but be careful when you rent.
MICHELLE SI was thrilled that they were open and had tape/boxes on Christmas- we ran out and thank God. The 2 clerks we interacted with were helpful and pleasant. Only thing to note was the truck we had seemed to struggle with getting to the speed limit- even empty. Also the powers tearing whined loudly. Other than that the experience was wonderful.
MICHELLE SNext time an ID is left behind, contact the customer as soon as possible to get the ID returned. Do not wait until they are scheduled to return the equipment.
