Dirty. Was dirt, an oily rag, and a used dirty diaper in the bottom of the trailer. Gross

Wiring was damaged on the trailer and the proprietor told me to take the trailer because it was fine even though the tail lights didn’t work. I had to insist that he replace the damaged wires before I could leave
Robert EThis was one of my worst customer experiences ever. They could barely get me checked in, misreported my fuel and tried to charge me extra when I returned with more fuel then I got it with, charged me for dolly and blankets they didn't have and lied saying they would not be on my receipt but they are. I had to return the truck when I first got it because they lost the lock key and had to pry off the door lock so the back door would even open. I may never use uhaul again and will do everything to let people know to not use uhaul at this location. Terrible!!!!
BRANDON MI was charged additional day when I was told that I would not be charged, I was charged for additional gas when I filled the truck to the exact amount that I started with! The truck made a loud noise, and the brakes were also questionable. When I informed the owners of the store, they are RUDE and non-responsive. I rent U-Hauls regularly from another dealer in my Town as I am a Stager and they are AWESOME this dealership is not a good representation of the U Haul business.
THERESA AThe following does not pertain to the one employee working this site - he was doing the best he can given U-Haul would schedule only one person to work this busy location on a Saturday morning. My one-way rental was reserved on 12/17/25 for a 12/27/25 pick-up from U-Haul Curtner. Less than 24 hours before my confirmed reservation, the pickup location was changed to U-Haul on The Alameda. I found this seriously inconvenient given I was meeting someone to help me move and drive, and now had to adjust our plans to accommodate U-Haul's change. Look, I get availability and all that entails, but can't they foresee something like this? Luckily, the Alameda location wasn't too far from Curtner but it necessitated us having to incur an Uber charge to get my move/drive help to that location. Then, when I got my dropoff location set, we showed up at the confirmed dropoff location (Oakdale Food & Liquor) - only to be told they didn't "have room here to drop off your truck, can you please take it to Sinclair" (a different location, less than a mile away, but still). I feel like they should have cut us a credit for the additional 1-2 miles and inconvenience of having to drop off the truck after a long day of driving and moving. U-Haul's authorized dropoff locations really need to get it together. So while it all worked out, it wasn't ideal for a paying customer who did exactly what she had agreed to do per a confirmed reservation - but U-Haul's actions said otherwise - like bait and switch. We got done what we needed to, but this was not a great experience overall. Management, are you listening?
