We were charged more than what we were quoted
CHAD KUhaul location was excellent. The movers provided from UHaul website Tetris Movers were excellent. They came on time and did the load, move & unload as per the schedule. 5 stars to their service. Unfortunately the Uhaul website does not allow a customer to provider reviews for their service. Shailesh JExtremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend This Location I had a very negative experience at this U-Haul rental location and feel obligated to share it to prevent others from going through the same situation. I reserved a 15-foot U-Haul truck for pickup at 10:00 AM. At the time of pickup, the staff member informed me that the total charge would be approximately $105.00, provided I returned the vehicle before 3:00 PM. He even mentioned that if I returned it earlier, he would apply a small refund or credit to my account. I returned the truck at 1:00 PM—well within the agreed-upon time frame—and showed the staff the mileage used, which was only 30.44 miles. However, I was surprised to learn that he had added an extra 13 miles to my total, on top of the original 40 miles included with the rental. When I asked for clarification, I received vague and unhelpful responses. To make matters worse, I was ultimately charged $130.00—far more than the originally quoted $105.00, and certainly more than the under-$90.00 I was expecting for using the vehicle for just 3 hours and minimal mileage. This experience felt dishonest and misleading. Based on the deceptive pricing and the lack of transparency in billing, I cannot recommend this U-Haul location to anyone.
