I was very impressed with the gentleman at the location where I picked up the truck. He explained what to expect during the rental and advised me to take pictures of the truck before leaving to ensure I wouldn't be charged for any pre-existing damage. I appreciated his helpfulness and professionalism. However, I noticed that the truck only had about one-eighth of a tank of gas when I picked it up, so I had to stop for gas before I could even begin my move. When I returned the truck, the employee at the drop-off location was courteous and pleasant. I told him that I had returned the truck with the same amount of gas—approximately one-eighth of a tank—as it had when I picked it up. He said I would receive my receipt by text. I did receive the receipt, but I was surprised to see that I had been charged an additional fee for fuel. I called U-Haul customer service to explain that I had returned the truck with the same amount of gas it had when I received it. I was then told that I had been given a credit because the truck did not have a full tank when I picked it up, and that I was actually expected to return it with one-quarter of a tank. This requirement was never explained to me when I picked up the truck. While the additional charge was only about $20, I believe it was unfair to bill me after the fact for something I was never informed about. Had I been told of this requirement at the beginning of the rental, I would have gladly returned the truck with the required amount of fuel. Sincerely, R.

Susie RTruck was gross and received was poor. The return was a little better at the Sunoco he did his best. Very polite head was the only part good about the service. Otherwise the truck gears barely shirt correctly the ramp wasn’t working properly and the back door was not working properly. Wish I would have use Penske instead.
Elizabeth HMajor issues with verifying ID. Was on the phone for 30mins with a rep to then be told to just walk in to the business and do a in person check in.
