The 1-800 U-Haul number was terrible! I was told there were no trucks available for 15 miles. I personally went to a local U-Haul place, they had none but found the perfect truck 2 miles away.

However, the reservation was all messed up. uHaul did not ensure that the equipment that we needed was in Sanford where we live. I had to travel to downtown Orlando where they had a truck but no car trailer. We were delayed for 1.5 hours while they located a trailer and retrieved it from another location. Saidi did their best, but the reservation process was totally screwed up. The only issue I had with Saidi is that I got in truck, checked fuel level, and reported to them that the truck was only 1/4 full. They had not printer and couldn't print a contract for me. They told me that I would receive an email contract which never came until after I got to Tallahassee. In Tallahassee I was told that they required the fuel to be at 3/8 not 1/4. That is what the contract showed, but if I had seen that contract in Orlando, I would have objected. So I took the truck to get another 1/8 fuel. In returning, the wheel cover on the left side flipped over and got dented up while taking a turn into Storquest's lot. I had to pay $250 in damages. That really sucked after being delayed so long. It was a very stressful experience. It was no individual's fault. The root cause was clearly a function of a process that did not work in the first place to make the equipment available at the right place at the right time. Focus on quality processes and you will get quality processes.
