I was charged for equipment I didn’t rent (moving dolly). I was charged for equipment I rented but that they didn’t have (moving pads). The employees at the rental location said I couldn’t go in person check in even though this was an option presented during online booking, and this led to issues receiving the vehicle (I then had to do online checkin, only to then have to repeat every step of the online checkin with the employees in the store). Vehicle return was also a hassle because there’s no info communicated in person about how that process works, nor is there anything in email except buried deep in the contract. The code to open the key return box didn’t work and there’s also no instructions how to work which required follow up with uhaul customer service. Also the interior of the vehicle was dirty—and when I tried to report this the system tried to charge me an additional cleaning fee.

How U-Haul Reviews Workcode for keys was not sent had to go inside get UPS to help, then keys were not in correct lockbox, U-haul had food garbage and water bottles inside. Took 20 minutes to get the whole U-haul sorted and to get keys. Just not good at all.

Garry MYour app doesn’t work. It took me 30 min to get going! I had to leave without finishing the setting up and record the start km. Than at drop of it took me another 30 min to reach somebody to fix the mess. This is recivuloud and I will never rent a u haul again without an agent present! Fix this mess!!
