I scheduled to rent the truck in advance (on 4/21) for 5am 5/1/26i arrived to the location at 5:09am. I am attempting to use the self service option but it was not working and prompted me to call the service line. The woman on the service line stated the owner of this location did not leave the key and was unable to be reached. So I had to pay to get back home which was roughly thirty minutes back to Alexandria, VA. As a result, I had to come back at 9am when the establishment opened and the owner was supposed to be there. I arrive back at 9am and the owner/uhaul renter is NOT PRESENT. I spoke to someone who was running the chicken shop who called the owner. The owner was unaware that I had scheduled to rent this truck. So the individual had to gather the equipment I paid for (dolly & six furniture pads) and bring them out to the truck. This was such a horrible experience! I would not recommend this service to anyone, especially not this location. I hope the company can improve on their self service options and ensure all providers are aware of existing reservations.

Don’t lie about the gas meter. The gas meter was on empty and they mark on paper work quarter tank. I filled the tank all the full. Which cause me $35. customers shouldn’t have to clean snow off the truck. The snow was falling off the top which almost caused accident. I ask for the truck until 5 they gave it too me for 4 and charge me extra money $30. I would like my money back.at this point I dont want to rent from.New York Chicken on wheeler road. WILLIE BI waited an hour to receive the truck. I was late to where I needed to go and was not able to handle my business. It was a timed appointment and the guy that was at the location was waiting for the person to release the information for the truck that was not there. It just was all bad experience. It was a total waste of money. I drove all the way there just to say that I was not able to do what I needed to do. I would not recommend this location to anyone and then they also charge me $10.
