I am totally pissed at UHaul Ames. I was charged $15 dollars for driving a so called 15 miles over the alloted limit. I picked up u haul in Perry because they had none. I feel the miles allowed is a total sham. I will definitely try renting another truck pensky whatever. feel this is too picky .

bob cI loved this location the guys amazing. But again my experience was already annoyed with uhaul all together with the week coming up to moving.
Laura CLocation employee was kind and helpful and made sure I had all the information I needed before pulling away. The area he keeps the equipment in has more than adequate space to hook up/drop off. The online experience was easy to navigate and offered all necessary information. My only issue was changing the reservation from one location to this one. This location didn’t come up as an option to switch to so I had to cancel and create a whole new reservation. Not an awful process by any means just inconvenient.
