A tire pressure warning light was on. The agent said that “the guys” thought it was OK but that I should postpone until”keep an eye on it. My passenger tire gauge doesn’t measure high truck tire pressures, so I had to start driving. After some highway driving, I was able to check tire pressures and the tire was only at 55psi instead of 80! Clearly, no one had actually checked the tire pressures, even though the warning light was on. This could have been very dangerous - and costly. Suggestion- You should MANDATE that no vehicle should be rented if there are warning lights on. Tires and oil should be checked, not waved off by someone who hadn’t put a gauge on the tires!
