When I went to pickup the 15’ moving van, it had tons of pine needles in the cargo area. A dump receipt in the cab suggested that this van was used to take things to the dump on 1/10. The pine needles were wet and stuck to the sides and walls of the cargo area. It appeared as though the previous renters attempted to sweep but didn’t do an adequate job. It had a mild trash-like smell to it and was less than favorable for transporting my furniture to a storage unit. Given that I was behind on my pickup time, I did not have the extra time to give to go back and speak with the representative in the Food Mart and have it cleaned properly. Furthermore, my original contract amount for the rental was $75 but was charged additional as I opted for a furniture dolly and insurance. I do feel like that should be clear upfront since my bill went from $75 to $120. I also opted to drop off at a location outside of my preferred drop off area since it was cheaper only to receive two phone calls / voicemails and two text messages telling me they will not take the vehicle at that location and re-routed my drop off destination to 3 miles further. Instead of explaining and apologizing for the change of plans, the uhaul representative was more concerned with me confirming my drop off time because “families are waiting”. With all due respect, I had little interest in who was waiting for the moving van next and needed to change my pickup plans with my spouse. Furthermore, I was then charged for going over some arbitrary mileage cap that I was completely unaware of. I felt like my choices for a convenient drop off were taken away and then I was charged additionally.

KAYLA LI declined the safe move coverage several times, online during the reservation and then in person as well. It was added to the final cost. There was no review of charges, just a "I'll send you a copy of the receipt, thank you." If I decline something, don't charge me for it later after I've left the facility.
Chandra QDespite “guaranteeing” me a truck in a different location at a more convenient time, U-Haul chose to change my reservation time and location without notifying me until the time I was expecting to actually pick up my truck. I even chose contactless pickup to make this process easier on you guys but U-haul’s apathy for customer wellbeing prevailed yet again. The rep behind the counter was unhelpful, unkind, and uncaring. I called U-haul’s customer service line and unsurprisingly no one answered, demonstrating once again how little U-haul cares about a person once they’ve separated them from their money. Being forced to work with this company genuinely makes me consider throwing all my things away and starting anew rather than having to deal with you’re bullshit.
TODD DTruck was dirty, left on a quarter of a tank of gas and leaked all over my belongings when I was moving across town. Some of my Halloween animatronics got wet and prolly are ruined now… I don’t mind paying for the gas I used but paying the rental and insurance fee seems ridiculous to me… Tried to get ahold of customer service several times by no luck…
