I ordered this trailer to be picked up in Bremerton. Instead I was sent to Port Orchard which necessitated a 30 mile round trip instead of 10 mile round trip. At, Port Orchard, a single attendant was running the gas station, convenience store and U-haul. That is a bit much. The wiring on the trailer needed to be replaced which the attendant took off another trailer. There were no moving supplies available at all. The trailer was full of muddy footprints and I had to wash it out before I could use it.Stephen R.

I rented the Uhaul to pick up my TV from the Navy Exchange which was 10 mile away from the Uhaul. I was tole by the attendant (an Indian guy) that the truck was 1/2 tank full. I was in a hurry as Monday was a holiday and the exchange will close at 4pm. As I drive away, I noticed that the gas meter was slowly moving to 1/4 full and I told my wide this can't be! After an hour, I returned and told him, your gas meter s tampered as it was not half full. His answer was immediately, did you read the link that I texted you I said what link? He said, oh so you did not read it, it already already expired so you need to refill it back to half full. I said what? No! I already told you the gas meter is tampered with. I asked how many miles per gallon fo you charge, he said 8 miles to a gallon. So I said, oK, charge 2 and 1/2 gallons then. He was very adamant and told me NO! You have to refill it back to half full! I got angry and I just left to avoid further altercation! RED FLAGS: (1) He did not tell me about the link and he did not conduct an inspection of the vehicle and start the truck to see if if was really half tank full, (2) Why did he put so much importance on the link that he did not let me know he sent me! It was an entrapment to get me! and why would the link EVER so important that would immediately EXPIRE? (3) i have been renting on and off for 30 years, this is the first time a rented truck is half full! (4) This particular business is scamming and is fraudulent to trusting Americans! I served the military 36 years now, 24 of active service and 12 years as a Department of Defense civilian employee and to be defrauded buy this type of people! they have to be stopped! I've never had such an awful experience with u-haul as I have this most recent. I have zero intentions of ever doing business with u-haul ever again and I will loudly tell anyone who is willing to listen, the reasons why. Maybe save them the wasted time and frustrations. SMHJames V.

The truck had garbage in it. The clerk was very rude and unhelpful. Uhaul should be more choosy about who they let represent their company. This location definitely gives them a bad reputation.Travis J.

I will say being out of a convienence story is tough, we were stopped being taken care of to ring customers up buying gas or grocery items. Which should of taken a few minutes took almost 30mins. Very frustrating when on a time crunch and I was a paying customer.Jessica L.

Staff here also extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Limited equipment available to rent here. I don't believe any moving accessories (such as blankets and hand trucks) are available in stock (perhaps those accessories, and maybe equipment, can be ordered and delivered). This location was great and the customer service was exemplary. The store was super busy and there was only one person managing both the uhaul and the store itself but were pleased how well he was managing everything. Our only issue was that we were charged for gas when we had literally just filled up the uhaul to above the requested amount-there was half a tank when we dropped it off but our paperwork stated it was 2 gallons below that. Either way, especially in comparison to our previous experience picking this uhaul up at a different location, we had a great experience. Thank you!Rebecca W.

The 10ft UHual truck I rented had a problem with the ignition, you literally had to wiggle the key to find the perfect spot so you could turn the key and start the truck. Moving day is stressful enough without having to worry the truck won't start! Had problems with the final bill, was over charged by a 1000 miles, which added $2000 to my credit card, I called and the nice person I talked to got it all straightened out and a credit to my card. I've always rented, and will continue to rent from UHual, they can always accommodate my moving needs, I just wouldn't rent from this location again.Jennifee B.

The location had bad internetâ€” they said this was commonâ€” so it took a long time for them to access my information and had to start over completely at one point. The guys were nice, this seemed to be out of their control. The cup holder was stickyâ€” had obviously not been cleaned and their were pistachio shells under the seatâ€” a lotâ€” it's obvious no one checked under the seat.ROBERT H.
I guess I'm a little confused why I was charged a cleaning fee of $25. I took all of my garbage which consisted of 2 water bottles and threw it in my trash. When I received the truck it had a half empty water bottle and some candy wrappers and I threw it away in their trash. So no one checked the cab before renting it to me. I swept out the back of the truck after use. The cab was clean and the back was clean. I took pictures when I dropped it off. I've never been charged a cleaning fee because I always sweep out the back and take my trash with me. Kinda disappointed. Lost my trust. I rent from a U-Haul location probably every 9 months on average. This is my first time renting from this location. Their gas is expensive so I initially gassed up at a different location and had to add more so I put enough to go over what my minimum required for the gas tank was. Pros are their location is convenient. Friendly service and the inside of cab and back were fine except for I had to throw away previous occupants trash left in cab.Jacqueline B.

Individual walked off after me waiting fo 45 minutes to check trailer in. Had to call the main U-Haul office to let them know what occured and dropped the trailer in a parking stall. Very unprofessionaLdavid D.
This location is the 2nd worst location out of the 5 locations in washington state that i have visited. Im not sure if this gas station/ uhaul mesh is a great idea. The lack of customer service & assistance, communication, flexibility, efficiency, detail, accommodation, accuracy and availability of supplies needs major improvement. Undercover boss needs to visit these locations. They do the bare minimum in assisting customers, they do not communicate effectively, they are not honest, they are not detailed, they are apparently used to getting away with bare minimum job duties, they shift blame, their multitasking skills are ineffective as it is clear that the customer sales within the store are more important than the uhaul customers. We were constantly interrupted mid conversation and even mid transaction while they assisted other customers who were making store purchases. Its quite insulting to feel as if the man who is buying gas time is more important than your time and that' the people in that line dont have to wait however the people for uhaul line do when in actuality we are all customers paying customers who all have things to do and are all spending money. First come first serve. Or hire more help or discontinue being a uhaul distributor because it can be quite frustrating to be constantly interrupted, told to hold that thought or placed on hold with a finger and watching others go in and go out in record timing. Supplies Are not available even though it says they are, they add unnecessary extra charges, and do not pay attention to the order details and if you dont mention it they dont and will still charge you! they dont assist you or show you how to use or store anything, they dont even put the equipment in the truck for you or atleast ask you if you would like help, they email you the receipt even if you ask for paper form they claim to not be able to provide that and i feel thats because when things Are disputed prior to finalization it requires them to do more work and do whats right however its harder to get a refund after a deal is finalized and a order is closed and done. Either way i am very unhappy with uhauls gas station distributers and am going to fight this to the top because something has to change money is hard to come by for many people so when they come to spend money with your business they should be treated with phenomenal respect and accommodated to because without US there is NO YOU! smhMaRena W.

Make the drop off / process easier. I wanted to confirm my paperwork and charges before leaving after a drop off and was told unable to do, because was the only person there and had numerous customers and a store to take care of. I did call the 800 number to ensure I had information on file that vehicle was dropped off. Was told I would receive an email but never did. Next time I would prefer using a location that only does u haul check in / out. It just seemed more of a hassle to the employee at drop off to do additional workLinda P.

I do not understand why I paid less for a 2 day rental than I did for a 12 hour rental. Also I am hoping one the charges fall off because i had one payment of $140 on 2/8 and then $136 on 2/9. There was graffetti all over the drivers side of the truck and the back had not been swept out.Edith C.
