Dropped off at 6:15pm on drop off day. Was put almost a day behind because of uhaul reasons stated above. Would like a good will gesture. Want to use uhaul services again in near future. The uhaul response from the above will dictate whether I do or not. Extremely unsatisfied.

The customer service agent was rude. Did not acknowledge me in the store because she was looking at a piece of equipment (tool store) and I stood there awkwardly for 5 minutes unsure if she even worked there. Due to an injury I was unable to return the rental trailer the time I expected and received two rather rude voicemails from the desk attendant demanding a call back... less than 24 hours past the expected return time... I have rented 5 times in PG and this was the first astonishingly terrible experience.

Friendly staff and great variety of trucks. Place smells strongly of gas, but it is an engine repair place so it's to be expected! Thanks for the painless experience!

I feel cheated I booked a 4 x 7 @14.99 order no. 25752922but was forced to purchase 5x8 and forced to pay 27.95cad even after ur customer care assuring me on phone that the will be no extra charge . And wasted 1 hr to sort the issue due to mismanagement on ur side . He further informed he has not ever seen a 4x7 trailerfrom u haul in 25 yrs of his association with you . ur franchise and ihave to waste 1 hr sorting ur crap. And I being bullied to pay extra for ur shabby management Even though I had a contract no 25752922. I never had this kind of experience with u haul

The issue we had was that I had to pick up the truck in Prince George which is 454 km away from Fort St John BC. This was not a great way to start the moving process.

Was not happy that the 10' truck was not available until near when the store closed on the day I scheduled for picking it up at 930 am. It was nice they had a 15' truck available but I feel spent much more on gas traveling 850 km.

This location's primary business is small engine repair and only one couinter staff, so you can get stuck behind other customers looking for obscure parts for a 40 year old chain saw for a long time. Three of the lights on the trailer didn't work, and when we pointed this out, the person renting the trailer suggested that we have them fix it at the drop-off location, over 800 km away on the highway without proper lights! I suggested that the trailer should be inspected when it comes in after each rental, and she said that they are. Obviously not because lights don't just stop working, especially 3 at the same time while it's sitting in a lot. Calling her incompetent would be kind. We took it to the repair location where they promptly fixed the problem (2 lights had lost their ground and one wasn't even plugged in) and we were on our way. I'd say that this is typical of my previous renting experience with UHaul but this was actually one of the better ones. If there were another option I'd use it even if it cost more. Reminder to self - always leave an extra 2 hours more than you expect the pickup to take.

Be open on Sunday’s. Have more flexible pick-up/drop off between locations. Tell customers that debit visa is not acceptable for a credit card for the $100 security deposit straight up instead of saying it’s fine on the phone then being blind sided at the store by getting told unless we present $300 cash up front or a full credit card, we cannot get our rental. It was a lot of stress and drama that was really unnecessary.

The experience at the pick up location was great, very helpful!

I booked a truck at a different location and went there to pick up. When I got there I was told my truck was at this location, but I wasn’t notified about the change. It would have saved me a run around if I was called beforehand about the change in location.

I rented this U-Haul in the winter in northern B.C. this truck had poor summer tires wich are extremely dangerous in snow, also the location was very disorganized and dirty and garbage everywhere I would bet go back to this location again for anything

First, I showed up at the location and there was apparently no record of my online reservation. After almost an hour straightening that out, I had to hook the trailer on in water past my ankles. One of the safety chains had a broken link which I replaced at my own cost. The only reason I didn't rate this at the lowest possible rating is because in the end I did get a trailer that hauled the load it was supposed to.

The debit machine doesn't work for uhaul related transactions because the company has to get reimbursed by uhaul. They only take cash or credit for uhaul stuff. Then she lied to me and said uhaul won't accept that type of payment because uhaul changed the policy, even after I explained that I paid by debit weeks before. But she was friendly afterwards.
