The debit machine doesn't work for uhaul related transactions because the company has to get reimbursed by uhaul. They only take cash or credit for uhaul stuff. Then she lied to me and said uhaul won't accept that type of payment because uhaul changed the policy, even after I explained that I paid by debit weeks before. But she was friendly afterwards.

Have winter tires on trucks that are for meant for ice, not just mud and snow. Did not feel safe for first half of trek.

I could not believe this place.... it is a pig pen. They did not even come out to help load the trailer. This trailer may have been a little off balance as it was very heavy to get on my hitch. They asked me to stop to check if I had it hooked up right... I thought screw that if there to F'ing lazy to come out screw them I will never go to this location again nor recommend it.

Was unhappy with the unhelpful and rude service . We use uhaul a lot and have never been given such a dirty truck the interior was nowhere near clean with garbage under the seats and was rudely told there’s a big cleaning fee if brought back dirty. Also the clerk was not willing to take the time to answer my additional questions about mileage rates . Sucks that there the only uhaul in town that has the pick up truck to rent .

We went early and the truck was ready so we got a jump on moving. Great location (wasnt my first choice as this was farther away therefore we were charged more mileage) uhaul needs to reevaluate how they do rentals, trucks/trailers should be made available to the customers location...not up to the customer to drive all over to pick up the rental. We pay enough for the rental let alone having extra mileage tacked on.

Lights on the trailer assigned to me where not working. Had to change trailer, did not add extra day to contract as requested.

I received a confirmation phone call regarding my rental and when I went to pick it up, the reservation did not exist.

The lady was quite short with us at the front desk. The shop itself was cluttered and dirty. Our Uhaul was in good condition.

I booked a 5' X 8' trailer for today, August 26th, at 3:30 PM and told the Burns Lake representative that I was planning to return it around 9:00 PM on Monday; I had spoken with him on the phone. When I went to get the trailer this Saturday afternoon, I was informed that it had been booked for 3:30 PM on Monday by someone else online. This completely ruined my family's plan to get our bikes from Burns Lake to Prince George. A representative in Prince George on Nicholson S Street has equally poor listening skills. Last week I had clearly informed her that I wanted to get another 5' X 8' trailer from their depot just before 5 PM. When I got there, the trailer was gone; she thought that I had said it would be a morning pick up and consequently rented the trailer to someone else. May I suggest you test your representative with how well they pay attention to customers.

Have proper parking. Was told to park on the street and most of the street was infested with no parking signage. Otherwise it was fine, kinda liked to round way down on the gas gauge though.

The woman at the desk was excellent. Very friendly, very courteous. The only slight annoyance was that she was the only one in the store and so the lines were long as she not only had to run the store (general sales, questions, phone calls etc.) but she also had to do all the UHaul rentals (signing in and bringing out of trucks), and UHaul returns (payments and checking the truck milage and gas, etc). As I work in customer service I get it and did not judge her or UHaul itself but other people in our line up were getting extremely impatient and annoyed.

My U-Haul experience was terrific. Your Prince George BC representatives were helpful and professional.

It was cluttered and smelled of engines (it is a dual company building). The staff seemed frazzled. They were efficient, just not very welcoming or pleasant.

Give them the right size trailer. Give them plenty of warning of any changes to the reservation and provide a discount if they have to return if the Trailer is too small and they from out of province.

Felt I was overcharged. Could not see the mileage as that and the radio was not working. Said I drove 38 Miles, which seems double compared to what I felt we used the truck for. Would like to see proof of the mileage in the truck since I was charged an additional 30$ on top of what I already paid.

Was not informed of problems with the gas gauge which left me stranded for two hours.

Absolutely worst service I've ever received at a uhaul

This vehicle was requested to be winter weather ready. Going from Prince George British Columbia to Whitehorse Yukon, the vehicle did not have a winter tires nor was it particularly well equipped for winter weather generally speaking. The female staff member at U-Haul on Nicholson Road in Prince George was not particularly helpful or really cared what we needed. The other and only other truck available was the same -summer weather ready. Regardless of being licenced in Arizona which seems to be the norm for these vehicles it should have been be ready for the climate and weather conditions being used in. This rental was booked 3-4 weeks in advance and even then was not. We did arrive safely but that was more good driving and good luck than due to reasonable equipment. If there had been other choices this company would not have been used and this perspective stands for future rentals based on thIs recent stressful driving experience.

The lady that we returned the truck to was going to charge us for 6 blankets missing. However, when we explained that my husband never received them, she tried to phone the rental agent in Red Deer to inquire. After getting no answer, she decided to believe that we never received them and just marked the receipt that we returned them with the truck.
