Besides a $5.40 charge for license plates that I did not know about.. I drove the U-Haul just under 6 miles and I put in 2 1/2 gallons of gas and returned it maybe an hour and a half later.. They charged me $13.22 for two more gallons of gas. I reached out to the U-Haul place I rented it from and they said the U-Haul management would call me back and I have not heard a thing yet.. I do not believe a U-Haul needs 4 1/2 gallons of gas for 5 1/2 mile trip that took less than an hour and a half.
