I rented the Uhaul a month in advance, but was told the day before that I had to go an extra 25 minutes out of my way to pick up the Uhaul. I also had to wait until 1 PM instead of the 10 AM pickup time I requested well in advance. The Uhaul system took way too long to process my rental. The person I received the Uhaul from had to enter the information on their phone for it to work, and it still took over 20 minutes after having drove half an hour. The tire on the towing trailer of the Uhaul had a faulty tire which resulted in the tire blowing not even 2 hours into my drive, causing the trip to be delayed for more than 3 hours. The Uhaul customer support had the towing company on hold for an hour as well, halting the trip progress even more. Also, I was informed that there would be a reduction in price for my troubles, but no such reduction in cost was granted. Unless you absolutely have to, do not rent Uhaul, their equipment is faulty, and their electronic system is even more faulty.

MICHEAL KHis mistakes made us get double billed on the credit card. The papers show 2 contract numbers for this one rental. He thought we were renting immediately not reserving, he thought he removed charges but didn't. Credit card dispute submitted, contact with Albany u-haul failed to resolve problem.
FREDERICK TI was transferred to this location by uhaul for reasons unknown. This took me out 25 miles further than my original rental location, adding the inconvenience of having to travel to this location twice in one day. This added approximately 2 hours more to my move in terms of travel time to and from the location. What made it even worse was the truck I reserved was at my original location chosen at West Sand Lake, NY the same truck was available all day when I had to pass by that location seeing as the move was only 1 mile away from West Sand Lake.
