The customer service was great and very friendly. The process of renting went smoothly. The cargo van had very low mileage and was easy to drive. I would rent from them again.
theresa dI reserved a week in advance for a 20 ft truck. 15 minutes before I arrive, was told it was not available. They gave me a 26 ft truck with bad shock absorbers. Put a high amount on my card and stated they would only charge when brought back. The truck was returned to the location I was told gave a discount 3 days later. I was charged the high amount off my card, about $500 extra. Had to call and was told I would get the refund amount back, next day they took another $70 out. Would I give a good rating and use u-haul again, absolutely not.
bONNIE NWhile I did appreciate the friendly, helpful and attentive demeanor of the representatives (I am not complaining about them professionally); I think that someone should review vehicle features with the customer before using. The tire pressure was low on the van and I couldn't readily locate the fuel tank either--I assumed it was on rear end of passenger side which it wasn't. It would have been nice to have ascertained our mileage use more accurately so as not to go over the limit with the rep's help (it had been some time since I used a UHaul vehicle). I did fuel up the van more than necessary because I thought it may be a gas guzzler, I was wrong and couldn't be reimbursed or at least waive the over the mileage fee fo gas overfill which will probably benefit someone else! Again, the rep could have told me these things, etc. I was fortunate to get this vehicle at the spur of the moment and if wasn't for the folks at the main UHaul site informing me of this satellite place, then I wouldn't have been able to do what I needed to before August 1. So there you have it, the good and the bad...thanks for the opportunity to express these thoughts.
