Picking up was a nightmare. When I went in for my mobile pick the Uhaul app didn’t give me a key and it was because they forgot to put the key in the key storage locks outside. This made me go inside where I waited 20-30 mins before being assisted by Kevin who worked with me another 10-20 mins or so to figure out where the key was. Then on top of that when we got the vehicle the gas gauge was on E not a quarter like promised. Kevin promised me I would get a reimbursement once I returned it with gas but even the return location wasn’t aware of this. In all my years of Uhaul this has never happened, extremely frustrating and I just want my money back for having to pack for gas twice.

I scheduled my pickup well in advance and confirmed that the equipment would be ready at the location I selected. When I called the day before the pickup, I was unexpectedly told I needed to go to a different location out of my way to pickup the equipment. The employee there was clearly in a hurry to leave for the day and handed us the wrong key to the truck. He didn’t take the time to make sure we had the correct equipment, didn’t verify that everything was in order, and didn’t offer any guidance on operating the truck or trailer. The whole experience felt rushed and unprofessional, and it caused unnecessary delays and frustration.

Alexander IMechanical condition of the truck was borderline unsafe at highway speeds. Super sketchy over 55 mph. Otherwise things were good.
