The truck and the price were fine, but the customer service representative that dispatches keys was rude and dismissive. Moving requires a lot of planning and can be stressful, and to have to deal with a rude store rep only makes it more stressful. Would not recommend this location.Pedro C.

I had a horrible experience with this UHaul location. When I got to the front of the line, they told me that I needed a driver's license with a San Antonio address in order to get the cargo van that I reserved. I do not know where they came up with that rule because that requirement was not listed anywhere. I got this reservation directly through 1-800-GO-U-HAUL after they cancelled my previous reservation two days before move date and they did not mention this either. I had to contact someone to come and help me keep my reservation for the cargo van. When I finally got it, they did not have the utility dolly I had reserved. Apparently they ran out. I do not understand why they are overbooking themselves. I understand there is a shortage on rentals which is why I made a reservation in advance. After finally getting the cargo van halfway through my reserved time, they still required it to be returned at the original return time. What is the point of making a reservation online if they are going to give you a hard time to get the equipment I reserved?ELENA W.

I selected the self-check-in option so I wouldn't have to deal with anyone and I could quickly go about my day. This did not happen. Instead, the uhaul location required I find my key in a lockbox to which I had no code. This required me to track someone down and have them tell me I had to go inside and speak with someone else to get said lockbox combination. I wasted roughly 30 minutes waiting in line because there was only one attendant behind the counter. When I did reach the front, the lady told me not to use the app and instead took care of it herself. Completely defeating the purpose of what my goal was from the start. I ended up getting my truck about an hour after I originally intended to receive it and did not receive a discount for this. I am going to go out of my way the next time I need to move to NOT use uhaul. This was a terrible customer experience. So, what can you improve? Ensure your employees understand the self-check-in process and have them run through the process, step-by-step to ensure accuracy. I might expect this disaster of an experience from a mom and pop rental shop, but not a nationwide corporation.Joshua M.

The person behind the counter was rude. I refrain here from using a derogatory term here. I think you know what I mean. He was the only rep behind the counter & I was the only customer. Took over an hour after arrival waiting in line to pick up the trailer. Was billed for TWO days even though I had returned the trailer that night on the lot after closing.Anthony C.
I had a reservation and Matt who assisted me at the counter would not take my information just my name. He was argumentative when I asked about extra days on a one way rental, he would not listen that I made the reservation and paid for extra days. NOT ONLY UNTIL he pulled up my reservation did he see that yes I PAID FOR EXTRA DAYS. Customers choose to do business with UHAUL and our normal location on Jackson Keller @ Loop 410 did not have a trailer so that is how I ended up at the San Pedro location. I called the manager but missed speaking with him; I was so upset that the young man who hooked up my trailer went and got the card so I knew who to call and speak with. I will never go to the SAN PEDR LOCATION AGAIN.RITA T.
