Don’t put people on the phone on hold for 15+ minutes! All day long I called three separate times and each time was put on hold for 15+ minutes, trying to get through to notify the store that a piece of equipment I ordered was missing.

Maybe go over how everything works in the truck, such as the windshield wipers location and which side is the gas tank on. I am used to my car, when it started raining, I couldn't get the wipers to work at first, they were completely the opposite of my car and so was the gas tank.

Check mileage and rates before writing contract to ensure accuracy. I was quoted .69 per mile on phone but was charged .79/ mi on invoice. Truck had extra 4 miles on it when we started out.

assistant manager was rude, personnel was rude, no urgency on helping the customer. i rented a couple of weeks ago and experienced the same attitude. thought maybe the had a bad day. never again with you guys.



Hire a GM who is professional! Worst customer service of any major business chain I have ever dealt with. The GM is a rude smart ass! Every time I went to that store it takes at least 30 minutes. Half the time there is NOBODY at the desk to help you. But they sure like to raise their prices a lot. I’ll NEVER do business with U-Haul again!

Only complaint was I scheduled the pick-up on line for the location at Vance Jackson and I-410. (confirmation # 26258898) When I got there the day for pick-up was told there was no reservation and I had to go to the location at San Pedro and Basse. I should have gotten an email showing this change.

Upon pickup, furniture dolly was not available although I had made a reservation for one. If I had known it wasn’t going to be available, I would have rented at another location. At drop off, the location was so busy and under-staffed that the attendant said he would remove the furniture dolly from my final charge and email me a receipt. Neither of which happened.

Keep doing what you are doing. I've been a U-Haul customer for many years. A friend suggested I try another rental place for a trailer for only $30 day. I went to see it and the wooden floor boards were rotted out with holes and the tires were cracked and old. Compared to U-Haul all metal trailers (6'x12') it was a bad joke.

Increase sales personnel at front desk. Both times (pickup and dropoff), there was only one person at the front counter waiting on people. Took approx. 20 to 30 minutes of additional waiting. You can do better!!

Only concern was that I was not given a specific return location. I was instructed to call for a return location when I was ready to return the equipment. The personnel at the return location was unaware of that I was to return the equipment.

One person, I believe to be the manager, was rude and insulting when I was returning the trailer, I was ten minutes early before the store opened and I wanted to tell about a problem I had unlatching the hold downs. There was a person working in the return lane so I ask him if I could show him a problem I had and he just yelled "WHAT!... Just get in your truck and wait until we open. I have a lot to do before we open". I need a trailer again in two weeks but I will go to a different location to rent.

To improve for future customers please have more staff available. Only one person working at the counter on Sunday with a line of at least 10 customers was not adequate. The staff member at the counter was competent and extremely helpful. He deserves a medal for staying calm and in control with multiple customers complaining about the wait and lack of staffing. The rest of my experience was perfect.

Because of the needs of my job, I regularly rent a 26' truck from this location. Ever since Adam Pena became the general manager, every experience I have at this location has left a bad taste in my mouth. He is extraordinarily rude and NEVER EVER helpful. I had a reservation this past Sunday, made over the phone, for 8am. When I arrived at the location at 8am, Adam was outside but the doors were locked. He informed me that it wasn't his problem they made my reservation for 8am but that his location doesn't open until 9 and he couldn't help me until then. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I will NEVER use this location again!

Old cargo trailer worked just fine but interior was filthy. Looked like the bottom of a chicken coop. Also exterior needs a paint job but works just fine- just old and me.
