Safe was great
RICHARD K | First ImpressionsAt initial pick up, there was a language barrier yet the lone attendant there was very transparent and reassuring. Now drop off, 5810 San Pedro Rd Crew is AAAmazing!! They are very friendly, professional, and very efficient. It is a smooth running machine at location, and I am very pleased with the crew and my experience I had while there. Thank you to the U-Haul San Pedro Crew.

Benny V | First ImpressionsI fell behind on my payments after paying on 2 storage room since 2018 due to medical hardship. The store told called me and offered for me to pay a certain amount and I could all my things out. The manager told me I had Saturday, Sunday and Monday to remove my things. On Saturday the clerk told me I only had until 5 pm Sunday, and I told her the manager gave me until Monday since I was not going to have help until Monday morning. She said yes, I had until 8 AM Monday. I said that not what I was told. Rudely she said that I would have leave what I couldn't take on Sunday. I did my best. On Monday around noon I get a call telling me that I had until that afternoon. I already had canceled the movers for that day! I proceeded to move what i could on my own. They told me I had until 7 PM that day. I did my best. The next morning they called me at 11 AM that I had until that evening and that I was to leave what I couldn't take. Iwent back and emptied the rest of the large unit. I took some things out of the other unit, but had to leave large items since I didn't have time to return. And I thought that was it. They called me again on Wednesday! It would have been so much easier if they would have said you have until Wednesday. Or would have stuck with the original agreement, I would have had the help as scheduled. I am greatful for them to give me the opportunity to get my belongings out out, but their method of several people saying different things, just didn't cut it. After I signed the abandonment paperwork and got a receipt, now they are charging me an outrageous amount!
