Scheduled truck and trailer at Chula Vista a week ago. This morning I’m told it will be in Mission Valley. Had to call back 3 times before I could get connected to scheduling office for an explanation. Original plan was to walk to Chula Vista location, since I now had to drive I asked scheduling office if the new location if I could park at Mission Valley location. They said yes. Get there, no parking on site, had to park on the street. On top of the extra 20 miles added to my trip (and mileage fee). Staff at Mission Valley location were very understanding and accommodating. Truck was immaculate. Had I actually scheduled my truck there, they probably would’ve gotten 4 or 5 stars. But I didn’t schedule my truck there, I scheduled it at a location within walking distance of my starting point. That bait and switch and the fact that multiple calls to the scheduling office’s “direct line” kicked back to a national switchboard earned the 1 star for U-Haul as a company.
COLIN GThe staff was very friendly and help me out when I needed the trailer last minute. Service was fast and efficient. They help me unload the trailer from my vehicle as well. I'm a newbie when it comes to driving a trailer and they were very helpful. Definitely recommend this location. Best U-Haul experience I have had.
