My rental was given out to someone other than me. Not only that, but there was the strong possibility that the other customer who stole my reservation could have also accessed my credit card information. Uhaul has got to stop giving such poor customer service and hiring and not training unqualified employees.

How does a 19.95 small truck cost me 159.00 rip off

Justin S. on

Every time we rent from here the alignment of the truck is slightly off and I can't say I would recommend this place in particular, (I do not live in the city and neither does anyone I know) I do recommend UHaul

I scheduled a 15' truck over 20 days before my move and was told the location only had a 10' truck for me. To make matters worse, I was assured over the phone that a 10' truck would be plenty big for my 1 BR apartment but we had to leave items in SF because we couldn't fit another thing in the truck (back of the truck and the cabin.) Furthermore, I had a friend return the dollies and half of the pads the same day I picked them up because I couldn't fit them in the truck. My friend provided my account number but the items were not removed from my account so I had issues when trying to return the truck. Overall, a terrible experience.

The waiting line to get the key for the van was too long. You should have more than one person on the counter. It took me more than an hour to get the van because each customer took 15 to 20 minutes to get their key and there was 5 people in front of me and only one person at the counter.

Worst experience with uhaul. I was told that this location accepts vehicle return after hours. THEY DIDN'T. Location closes at 5pm on Sunday and I reached there at 5.10pm. They told me to just park the truck on Bryant St overnight and bring it back next day. Of course, I did as they told me and got a $75 fine because YOU CANNOT PARK OVERNIGHT ON BRYANT ST. Next day I had to spend another $30 for cab to get to this location and drop off the truck. That $75 ticket is in the uhaul truck I'M NOT PAYING FOR IT. Had better expectations from uhaul.

Not very friendly staff. Person who booked my van insisted on calling my wife to verify it was a real number. Not a big deal except it was 7am

quick n easy

Keep on going

The people running the front and the manager are BEYOND rude! I'm not expecting flowers and a card but at least a greeting or acknowledge that I will be helped soon. There were 5 people with no customers at one point and still NO ONE spoke. Then a man came in making a fuss and the manager took him first. Smh the male checking our vehicle was the ONLY employee with an idea of what good customer service is.

Had a 7:00am pickup appt. and the Manager greeted us at the door a few minutes beforehand. We were in and out on our way in 15 minutes!

Hello and good day. I expect to receive and email with the changes that I make to my reservation especially if a U-box is involved on shipping dates and last day to load but this never happens. What is the use of checking/confirming for equipment online if when you go to the location you have to do the line and the same process as anybody? Best regards.

Easy process and the staff was friendly and efficient. They got us in and out of there quickly so we could start our day.

The gal who took my reservation was wonderful! Carolyn I think was her name?

Don't stop your outstanding customer service; it makes a bad day turn out to be ok

There was a ridiculous line to rent the truck, probably took 30 minutes. It didn't seem like the employees were prepared. They did have all the products I needed, and the truck was fine. I do wish that they had an after-hours dropoff at this location.

Need more help to check in. 25 minute wait.

Absolutely terrible management. At the end of the month, 2/5 kiosks were opened. The staff were also unresponsive and sluggish. I will never ever rent again from uhaul and won’t recommend to my friends.
