The neighborhood is slightly run down and the street was quite littered. It was somewhat unwelcoming.

Had been bounced around from one uhaul location to another with wrong online and phone-in information 3 times! This location helped me transfer my reservation from the wrong location after 30 minutes of computer issues! The reps were fantastic but the overall U-haul reservation system is decrepit and useless.

The location in the city dos not feel secure - the lot for picking up vehicles seemed disorganized - the drop off too as the staff there never checked my vehicle in so hours afterwards i was getting calls about why i hadn't returned my truck (when i actually did hours earlier).

At check in the employees were very rude to me I was just asking questions the reference number you have to call and some one must answer and the contract was explained to me very poorly the employee that check me back in when I returned did a excellent job need to look in to customer services training and maybe employees might smile I will not rent from U-Haul ever again I am done I will tell my friends about this bad experience

The representatives we worked with, were very professional & extremely helpful.

My truck was stolen and the entire process took over two weeks to resolve. Two uhaul representatives said they would call me back in two seperate occasions but never did. Really poor customer service.

Using the app to pick up the truck was a joke. Took much longer than talking to an actual person. Ended up having to talk to an agent anyway. Initial truck that I was assigned was parked behind another truck. Drop off was even worse. The final charge was more than twice the estimated charge. The agent admitted this was because of a glitch in the system but said there was nothing he could do about it. Are you kidding me?!??!!! After 20 minutes, had to get the manager to resolve the situation, which he did. But if you need a manager to resolve basic tasks you're in trouble. Horrible experience from a company that likely take their customers for granted because they're usually the only game in town. I foresee some tech company eating into the U-haul space just like Uber ate into the taxi space!!

Coordinate the checkin with the lot better. I had to wait ~30 minutes because my vehicle was blocked behind 2 others, and it was impossible to reach someone at the facility where I had just picked up the keys (had to call the main office).

More staffing in the early hours on the weekend.... only 1 clerk and about 10 people in line at 10am is not a good customer experience. In addition the elevator was not functioning and there was some debate about whether a repairman would be contacted due to it being 'a weekend' !!

There was a truck blocking the truck we rented and it took 10 min for someone to come to the lot and move it. The gas gauge was marked incorrectly on our contract. We were charged for gas even though the truck was returned with more gas than even the incorrect contract indicated. It took an unanswered email, an in-person visit that the manager never replied about, then finally a phone call before the matter was resolved. I don't have a week to spend following up on a one-day truck rental. When I rented a truck several days later, they tried to charge me for gas again, even though it indicated the gas was at the same level as when we left with it. Begs the question of whether this isn't a standard practice to charge people for gas they didn't use then make it so hard to credit that they give up.

Everyone involved were very helpful! Thanks

I returned my vehicle at 4pm but the drop off time listed in my receipt says 4:37, which means I was charged extra. Just because the car was processed at 4:37 does not mean it wasn’t back in time.

I have no idea why U-haul is still in business. Horrible horrible business model. Very nice employees, but the company sucks

seats and loading area of van was covered in animal hairs. A breathtaking experience for one with allergies. Receiving clerk got gas gauge wrong, took me another 10 minutes to get the extra charge off my bill.

I was scheduled to pick up my uhaul at 7th St @ Folsom at 8am on Sunday. Not only was no van there, there was no Uhaul location there either. Luckily my Uber driver took me to the Bryant St uhaul location and I was able to rent the next size up van. Not an ideal outcome.

I had several issues with my order from this location. I chose Mobile Check-in, but when I arrived to pickup my truck, it was double-parked behind two other trucks and the keys were missing. Nobody checked my ID or order when I was given the keys, and I could have simply driven out of the lot with no questions asked. I had also arranged for two rental items to be delivered with my truck, but they were missing and I had to go into the office to track them down. While using the truck, I called this location to see if I could upgrade to a larger truck, and the woman I spoke to on the phone sounded like she was drunk or under the influence of a heavy sedative. She was slurring words and sentences and was not understanding my request (could I upgrade to a larger truck?) at all. Overall, this is the worst experience I've had at any U-Haul and absolutely will not come back to this location.

Front Desk Staff on the pick up date of 09/08 were very rude and vibe in the customer facing reception/check in was being treated like a house party by staff (snacking, yelling conversations with each other about making beats, and liquor store runs, cursing, sitting on desks, talking trash to one another etc) Only one person at front desk was very helpful and sweet, I don't know her name but she handled checking us into our rental. Staff outside at return dock were very helpful and nice as well.

The fuel was not full, which makes it very hard to determine the exact level the van should be returned at. We put fuel to level that we thought was the right level based on the level indicated on the contract but we were still charged for an extra gallon of gas. There is no way it was different by a full gallon. So it feels like you are profiting of that when you really should be proving the vehicles full of gas so there is no doubt. There were also cigarette butts in the glove compartment so the vehicle was not cleaned properly. We removed them so we wouldn't be blamed.

My first 24 hour truck rental was a horrible experience, the address on the website was wrong, (potrero st address in SanFrancisco) and once I walked 5 blocks to the actual address, after 45 minutes of a "chat" with a uhaul employee to finally get my code to get the key, the key wasn't there. It took an hour from start to finish, and I had to pay for another Lyft to go the other location. I was told I would be reiumbursed $50 for the fee that day, I'm still waiting to see if that happens.

We requested to use a dolly and were charged for it but unfortunately never received it. This location is very busy and there were very few people working the desk area to help. All the employees outside seemed preoccupied with talking to one another rather than helping customers. I wish there was more available help.

Great customer service, thank you.

The ladies at the location seems not to be interested to serve the customers, and my overall feeling was unpleasant. On top of that I was hit with a strange requirement to provide an additional phone contact, which must be verified by a direct call. At 9AM at Sunday! I was not aware in advance of such a requirement, and when I was previously renting at Sunnyvale I was not asked to do so. Anyway, the lady told me quite indifferently "If I can not verify , I will not rent you the truck"...The only nice guy there was one at the checkout, on the street. I truly hope not to return to this place.

I use various locations but this one requires a counter visit, not a mobile pick up. Not ideal but the vehicle I needed was only available here.
