- Inform customers that the office is closed after a certain time. - Inform customers that they will not be able to rent their equipment after closing time. - Inform customers that one of the employees is incredibly nosy and wants to know the exact nature of why you are moving, seemingly for no reason. - Said employee also appeared to be intoxicated and showed my wife his genitals. - Said employee also kept referring to people as "blood" which made me and my wife feel extremely unsafe, especially because this is not in a safe location.

I used the mobile site to rent the van online but it made me go into the store anyways, it ended up taking more time to do it with the site than it would have without. It is kind of a schlep from the lot to the desk. Tat was irritating.

With a couple exceptions the staff at the counter seems completely unaware of the stress of a moving process. The initial check-in process is cumbersome and just very slow and the amount of info seems ridiculous for renting a storage space. Why can't a lot of that info be shared at the time of booking to save time on the day of the move? Yesterday on my move-out of the space, I rented a truck for the day returned by 1pm. Received a call at 5pm asking if I was returning the truck today. This caller had no idea that it had been returned. While moving into my storage space in Sept I had to run a homeless person out of my unit as I was working with my movers back and forth from the moving van. She had climbed the stairs and was starting to sort through my boxes. Yesterday, I was moving out of my unit and went to the truck for another load and had left blankets on the floor by the unit. Came back and they were gone. I caught the guy that took them. A homeless guy who said he had a unit there. I would not recommend the location to others.

As soon as I drove off the lot, I got a warning that my right front tire was low. I drove to the nearest gas station. The tire pressure was at 36 PSI and it needed to be at 80!!! I filled it, but this was an unexpected detour. I would have expected U-haul to at least check and fill tire pressure when necessary.

The agent was very rude and required me to giver her a name and phone number of someone who could vouch for me, and was available at 6:15 PM when I was there or she wouldn't give me the truck. The text did not pull up a picture of the truck and the truck was not in the spot the agent told me - I had to try four trucks before I found the right one. The truck smelled strongly of very bad air freshener giving me a headache. I will likely call Penske and pay a premium before renting from Uhaul again based on this very bad experience.



No outside service person, after waiting in line 45 minutes rented truck, got the key, went to parking lot, our truck was blocked by another one, so went back to the office to ask, they came out and moved the truck in front. Almost half day was gone. I only have one day to move, but rent the truck spent most of the morning. Uhaul call center pushing me to give them my credit card booking truck on the phone, I think the services getting bad. Cutting cost for more profit. Will go to Home Depot next time, they have 10 foot cube van for $29, first 75 minutes free.

I would not recommend U-Haul to my worst enemy. They are consistently incorrect with their information and reservations system. This is now the second time I have rented (and last!) where they have "magically" changed either a pickup or drop off location at the last minute creating a considerable inconvenience for this customer. I would not recommend nor endorse this company under any circumstances.

Gave us the wrong vehicle, said it was the first in line, but it was second and couldn't get out. had to go back to align app check-in process with correct vehicle. didn't tell us where to return vehicle, so we parked it back where we got it, but they made us move it back into a poorly signed return area where there was no one checking in. Then when walking back to office to find someone, the check-in guy, who looked like he was sleeping in his car, started saying "hey, uh, just leave the keys". totally weird and unprofessional experience.

When renting, i selected self-serice through the app although the van was double booked because as I was trying to figure out my payment method a customer, like myself walked up with a set of keys to take the van. We went back inside and staff quickly worked it out. While the issue was easily resolved I now don't trust the carshare 24/7 program and will be doing the in-person pick up in the future.

The truck could have been cleaner and the steering or alignment was off, but it was safe and reliable. Staff was very nice and efficient and the whole process was very convenient. It was also nice to have the final bill be less than anticipated, it’s a good idea to estimate mileage into the initial expectations for the bill.

I reserved the truck online. It turned out I have 2 reservations. Then, checking online but nothing works. So I went up to the counter and the clerk had to do it all over again. 45 mins later I’m On my way!. The check out however is awesome. The guy who helped me make the process really easy and convenient.
