Customer Reviews

Your pick up trucks need steps to get in and out of the truck. Too high to get into and out of for women. Staff was cordial but not enough employees to handle the customers. Had to wait a while.

The female employee was great check me in. She’s welcoming us. She took us to the truck and review the points we need to be aware of. My brother said gasoline was not at a half point and she noted that in the papers.

There was some issue with the billing system. That needs to be fixed. The staff were very helpful though and everything else went smoothly.

Sfaff members were friendly and helpful. I had no issues with the rental process and went smooth from check out to checking the vehicle back in.

Filled out form online, repeated all questions again in store. Poster on wall says complete online, skip the line. I had to wait in line. Probably needs work.

the staff was helpful and friendly, but I was charged double what I agreed to pay, because somehow my 10 hour rental (noon until 10pm) counted as 2 days. I reported the problem, and haven't heard back from a representative on the matter. The truck I rented was also having significant transmission issues, barely able to downshift.

Tried to complete the after hours drop off and was unable to take picture of the odometer. Something was wrong with site.

with online checkin, you force the customer to go there onsite to start the process. Then as step 4, you suddenly request somebody else. That’s too late. If you were to give advance notice, I could have told my wife before leaving that she needs to pick yet another random call coming from another state.

The only problem that we had was that the truck had problems starting twice, but after a few tries it started.

I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. We reserved ahead of time a uhaul at a certain location. We arrived and there was no truck to be found. We received no call from uhaul letting us know. With the help of uhaul traffic Dept. We found a truck at a different location. We arrived and they just let that truck go to someone else. We had to rent a smaller truck then we are charged an extra $40 for being 30 min late.

I would recommend Milpita’s if they lived in the nearby area. For us, going to Milpita‘s was a little out of our way, compared to a more local Mountain View U-Haul which did not have the equipment we needed.

Pick up and return were very easy and the staff was courteous and professional.

There is a young asain man working there with a deep voice. Very rude. Van rear blinker was out and van smelled like smoke

I originally booked a pick up at the Abel location. It was guarantee to be there, but I did some research on my own and noticed the location was closed on Sunday. I called the location the day before the rental on Saturday to confirm with the location that my rental woul be there. No one picked up the phone so I left a voicemail. On Sunday morning I got a call from a Uhaul rep stating I cannot pick up from the Abel location, and got redirected to the Old Oakland Rd. location. Long story short, Uhaul needs to do a better job at verifying the availability of their trucks at certain locations. Thanks.
