Not related to any particular location, but of general concern: It would be very helpful for U-Haul to clearly convey in advance that a customer's selected location is only a suggestion (not confirmed, despite the email that is sent). It was challenging (and stressful amidst a move) to be told that the location I was counting on, as well as the time, had been changed without any notification the day before I had movers scheduled to arrive. I realize that the coordination of trucks, especially during the high-traffic months of summer, can be particularly hard to manage, but it would serve the interests of the company to provide customers with a fair understanding that their pick-up location may change (and may end up costing nearly eighty dollars more than originally budgeted), as was the case in this specific move. Thank you for your consideration in this matter!

Would have given 5 stars except: I called the central number the night before a morning pickup and confirmed the truck was there and was told I could pick it up an hour early using self checkout. Arriving 1 hour before opening to do a self checkout, the phone app said the truck had not been assigned. So I had to wait until opening anyway. Need to tell central operators how to check if the equipment has been assigned or not.

Service your trucks before you rent them out! The steering mechanism was not maintained and it was very strenuous to drive the truck and unsafe because you could not make quick maneuvers. But Maximillion Sanchez the owner compensated us and we were very happy with his service ??????

The web site had me down for the wrong pick up time. since it showed I was late on their books, they gave away my reservation. I would have lost my truck had the staff not made calls and corrected the situation. I was very angry and rude initially and they were very calm and understanding. I can not recommend this location enough.

The self pick-up process is a joke. Never received the email explaining the process. Found out from the office that you have to log into the actual website to process the pick-up on your own (why not an app?). Logged in and my account showed a complete stranger's truck order along with my own. The website wouldn't let me process the pick-up. Ultimately had to have the gentleman in the office process my pickup, although he could not explain the reason for the extra truck order that wasn't mine. Plus, he was pretty "fumbly" during the whole process. Truck cab was clean but the exterior was definitely not. Both rear views had webs all over them. The woman that brought the truck to me probably meant well but clearly didn't want to be there. On the other hand, the young man the processed my return was polite and professional. It would have been nice to have had a smoother experience, but I was able to get my move completed. It is what it is.

i was told I could rent a 24ft truck for more than 24 hours over the phone but then was called repeatedly to return the same truck after 24 hours...strange.

I've rented from this location before and didn't have any issues. This time I decided to use the option to check out and return my rental through my phone and avoid waiting in line. I was able to complete the process with relative ease though there were 8 steps (I thought this was supposed to save me time) and I have to walk to my rental in the lot then walk to the front door to get the keys. My issue is this: there was a large gash down the drivers side of the van which had not been documented previously with their little 'X' stickers. I followed the steps on my phone to take pictures of the damage and write a description prior to taking possession of the vehicle. This was all submitted and approved prior to getting the keys. I had the van a total of about 90 minutes and returned it in the same condition I received it. The return process was easier on my phone and I received confirmation of my charges almost immediately. "Wow that was convenient" I thought to myself. Too bad I was wrong. The following morning (July 4th) while trying to sleep in and enjoy and extra day off work I received a call at 7am from from Uhaul asking me where I put the keys. "I followed your return process and put the keys back in your lockbox" I told the man. At 7:30am I received a second call from the same man asking me what caused the damage to the van, if there was other property damage, if anyone was hurt, and asked for insurance information. Shocked and upset by two early morning calls I explained to the man that the damage happened PRIOR to me taking possession of the van. I told him how I documented everything through their online process and even had included pictures. "I don't see anything on the file here. Maybe you should come down and we can sort everything out. Do you still have those pictures?" I agreed to come down as I wanted to avoid additional charges. I got out of bed and started getting ready only to receive a third call from Uhaul. This time the man said he had been able to get logged into the system and saw everything I had told him so we're good to go, the final invoice is being sent (even though I had already received it) and there was no need for me to come down. I was relieved not to be liable for any damage but very frustrated that the man seemed to have no idea how their own system worked. I know this was likely a very new process for the employee as I've never seen this offered by Uhaul before. That said it doesn't excuse his complete lack of knowledge of the system and poor tact in calling me 3 times before 8am on a holiday. His customer service skills were good, he was friendly and mildly apologetic throughout but this whole experience was unnecessary and very frustrating. Currently I have two charges pending on my bank account for this rental. I wonder if it has anything to do with processing the return and final invoice twice...

Equipment was great. Pickup experience: very busy and long line of customers. No effort to add reps to help more customers, but rep was friendly but also helping a peer and very distracted doing other things. Return Experience: very poor. I did the entire disconnect myself. The girl who sat at the counter was EXTREMELY RUDE. She may have said one word to me. Did not greet me, say thanks for your business, ask how everything went... NOTHING! I will not rent here again specifically due to her.

U-Haul wasn't able to fulfill original equipment reservation even though it was made weeks in advance. U-Haul called the day before saying equipment was over 50 miles away and then gave it away before I could confirm we could pick it up that far away. We ended up getting the 20' truck from a location about 10 miles from the location requested but it was a day and a half late which dramatically crushed our scheduled and forced us to drive over 21 hours in just two day to get to our destination on time.
